ESPN - Panthers release former first-round pick Morgan, guard Wahle - NFL (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3241317)
Both of these guys are good players, Wahle has a lot of upside & probably at least a few good years left in him.
Morgan might be worth, dare I say, a vet min. deal!!! :)

I was hoping someone would start this thread
Dan Morgan is too much of an injury risk. Wahle, as I mentioned in the Booker-Green thread, is definitely someone worth taking a look at in my humble opinion

I'm too awesome to be humble :) (that's the Madden Warpath 2008 World Champion Dirtbags' motto-Too Awesome to Be Humble)
Kendall will be 35 years old when the season starts, would be good to get someone a bit younger in there like Wahle as support

I think Wahle could be brought in to compete for Kendall's spot, if not he can compete w/L. Alexander (if they move him to O full time) et al that are vying for roster spots as back ups.
I agree on Morgan for the most part, but as a 2nd string MLB he might be able to contribute. No way he takes Fletcher's spot, but he might fill in well on some packages. Of course, he'd probably have to earn his stripes on teams. don't know that he could beat out Campbell & I certainly don't think they'd cut Blades as he's a work in progress for the future.

3 games? Substance abuse?
When are you going to update us on everything in the Madden Warpath thread?

We must be in much worse shape than I thought we were! Wahle is the only player we should even be discussing(Morgan, Green, Booker give me a break). Wahle is most likely going to look for a starting opportunity and he probably should be starting somewhere for that matter. We can't afford a veteran guard that will cost the kind of money Wahle will get. Pete Kendall is the starter(We can't afford to cut Kendall and or play him as a backup) so his backup needs to be young not old. That's how a properly functioning team does it at any rate.
