It already happened to Tampa Bay, do you think they would postpone the game tonight? I'm kind of torn in between, because I want to see them play tonight, but I don't want to be out in a hurricane.

the game is on for tonight. they wont postpone it unless it was right on top of us. it will be raining, but football will go on.

My wife and I have been debating the merits of going to the game or staying home.

Of course, I'm all for going to the game if it isn't postponed or cancelled, but my wife is a little iffy about making the two and a half hour drive from Richmond in the middle of a storm.

We've got a couple of rain suits, and I've worked outside in these kind of conditions before, so the rain and wind is no big deal for me. Plus, I feel like if I spent all that money for the tickets and parking pass, we'd damn sure better use them.

I guess it really comes down to whether or not it will actually be safe to make the trip to and from the game. I really feel like the league should postpone or cancel any game when weather conditions present a significant danger to fans who may be travelling to the game. I realize football is a sport that is traditionally played in any kind of weather, but there has to be some common sense concessions made for the safety of the fans.

The only thing that sucks is if the game is cancelled, I can't get a refund, because I bought my tickets from a ticket broker.

I bought my tickets from a broker/scalper/dealer too, so I'm screwed if its cancelled.

But, I've been listening to a lot of WTOP and watching the weather channel, and I do not think it will get cancelled. The storm looks like it will be missing us off to the east, and though we'll get some rain, they have been continually downgrading the expected wind gusts. I think we're going to be ok.

I live in Arlington, and it still looks somewhat nice out.

Thanks for the better forecast news. My wife and I are heading south from Harrisburg around 4 because it's usually a 2-hour trip but with the weather it could be longer.

I dont think the storm will be that bad once it gets up to maryland. Just a heavy rain storm at that point. My grandmother lives on the west coast of flordia where the eye went though, and we havent been able to get a hold of her becuase all the lines are down. So im kinda worried about her right now.

Hey, you guys have my sympathy....I'm just going out to the pool, it's nice and sunny here although I do keep having to reapply sun tan lotion.

it hasnt rained in miami for four days...which is werid becuase it had been like a month and a half of it raining everyday. You wouldnt think the threat of a hurricane would clear everything up

Rain, sleet or snow...nothing will keep me from the return of Coach Gibbs! I fully expect to be drenched, but it will be worth it. My wife & I live in Alexandria and right now it is raining heavily. She bought a new rainsuit last night just to be prepared. We just can't wait until The Coach is introduced, the place will go bonkers :-)

It's being pushed to the east. Local news says "Rain, and some occasional gusts of wind". Should end around midnight
