Jim Zorn
I have reason to believe that Jim Zorn is a strong possibility to be the Redskins next head coach.
(81+83+84=Posse, I moved your post because I thought it deserved its own thread)

I need to hear this from somewhere else before I start really giving it consideration.
In recent weeks JLC has posted that he believes Mora Jr., Mariucci, Fassel, and now Zorn are all the next head coach

Now this is interesting. Maybe Dan really just isn't happy with anyone he's interviewed.

I'd almost rather have a young ambitious HC than a failed retread. If he is capable and impressed the FO, why not?

I'd still be pretty surprised if it wasn't Jim Fassel, but this move would make some sense.

Wow, this would be very interesting.. If Zorn becomes HC, then who would be our OC?? I don't mind giving someone who is nobody a chance at HC position.. It's better than all choices we have right now, I guess?

That is misleading. JLC never said anyone else was the next head coach, and that he had confirmed it. Jim Zorn is the next head coach.

He doesn't say "I believe" ... he says he IS ... like this is a definite..
Wow this thing has gotten WEIRD!
Well... Matt Hasselbeck called it... he said Zorn should have been considered for HC all along because of how well he relates with and cares for players while still being hard on them and a perfectionist...
I can live with this ... let's a ll jump on the Z-Train!!

Understood, but he's based his opinion on the info he's recieved. If in fact Snyder almost hired Fassel a couple weeks ago but decided to wait till after the super bowl to interview spags, that's pretty conclusive evidence to state that Snyder himself has changed his mind on the matter.
I know you're not necessarily criticizing JLC, but I'd say what he reports is at least a roughly accurate portrayal of how much back & forth there's been in this process.

It's being reported on the bottom line ticker on NFL Network (Associated Press report)
and I just called my coworkers who say the same
