The next time we are looking fo a head coach the leading candidate will be...Jim Fassel :) What?!?!? No coach under DS has ever left/been fired before his contract was up. Zorn is here for 5 years at least! ;) JGisLordOfTheRings 02-09-2008, 10:24 PM and I call Cowher DAMMIT! Beat me to it. Dirtbag59 02-09-2008, 10:26 PM I call Gibbs 1.0.....Coy Gibbs 1.0 Stuck in TX 02-09-2008, 10:26 PM What?!?!? No coach under DS has ever left/been fired before his contract was up. Zorn is here for 5 years at least! ;) LOL. Anyone think Shottenheimer would have eventually gotten us to a SB? SuperFan99 02-09-2008, 10:26 PM Jim Zorn was smart, heady player and tremendous competitor. He never gave up on plays and was one of the best scramblers ever. I think it's smart for the Skins to grab one of the best young coaches in the league . . . skinsguy 02-09-2008, 10:27 PM Oh screw it! If nobody is going to jump 100% on the Zorn bandwagon, then I will! I'm all in. He's got my support, 100%! What were we saying about the syllable thing? Huh? Joe Gibbs? Jim Zorn? Put this in writing today, February 9, 2008. I, Skinsguy, hereby swear that Jim Zorn will be the next great head coach of the Washington Redskins. Put in a sig, I don't care! I'm excited and ready for next season! JoeRedskin 02-09-2008, 10:27 PM Okay, just listened to Mort's report on it. Last time a QB coach went to HC, Andy Reid. Other former Holmgren QB coaches who are now head coaches? Gruden couple of good names. Hopefully the pedigree holds. EternalEnigma21 02-09-2008, 10:28 PM oooooooh me so Zorny!!!! Your best post to date ;) I'm not sure what to think. Is it often that someone gets a double promotion in the same offseason? I'm glad it wasn't fassel, but has someone come from being just a positional coach, to a HC with another team with much success? I wonder what prompted this... I'll be optimistic about this, just curious. |
