It sounds like he will be resigned. Do you think they will unload any other receivers? I'd love to see Welker in a skins jersey. He is big, prolific tough, and makes clutch plays. I don't think we'd have to overpay too much to get him into a burgundy gold shirt and he is a normal human being, not a nutcase like chad johnson. He had some big catches that won games during the regular season and in the playoffs and seems to have the resume to be considered a "true redskin"

he took a 6mill paycut to join the pats, i doubt he really wants to leave. he's already had two bad situations with teams. football's more like a job to him anyways, he rather be smoking and fishing.

the pats probably let samuels walk and draft the best cb at #7 (or trade down, since the best cb isn't a top 10 pick).

except he has a long term contract with the pats and no reason to leave. his owner has money and likes him too.

i have no idea why you'd consider 5'9" to be big.

Dude,
Are you smoking crack?
There is no way in HELL that the Pats let Welker get away from them in the next 5 years....no way in HELL

pardon my French...but that is just crazy.
Every team in the country wants that guy

Moss will re-sign with the Patriots. This will be one of their top priorities, along with signing Assante Samuel. It would be friggin' sweet for the Redskins to sign a player of Moss' caliber, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I may be going out on a limb here, but maybe we should take a page from the Patriots' playbook on how they sign talent and win. I've blasted Snyder before on here and yes, I have to eat some "humble pie" and say Snyder is trying to better the Redskins even if his methods are kinda weird. But, the Patriots have taken players who have been "cancers" on other teams or supposedly lost a step or two (ex. Corey Dillon, Randy Moss) and look what they have done. Just my opinion.

it only works because they have stability and a winning atmosphere up there.

Moss will stay, finally once in his career he is working in an organization that he is surrounded by players that are all winners and give there all. You surely can't say that about Oakland.
