Wow it must suck to be a Patriot right now huh? To forever be seen as a trivia question, to choke when it mattered the most. For me the lost was a bitter sweet one. I hoped to see a record broken if not tied but i had no real alliance to anyone but i would've love to see Moss get it. If you had to say one thing to the patriots right now what would you say?

Me: 52-7..october 28....thats called karma belicheatI was pulling hard for the Giants because of that game alone. What bothered me most was their denial of running up the score despite passing the ball with a 45-0 lead and going for it on 4th down. Karma is a bitch, but I hope that WE have a chance to run it up on the Pats somewhere down the road, and bury them with no mercy.

They will be forever remembered as the almost perfect season and best team ever. The sad thing is that it reminds me of our '83 team that lost to the Raiders.

same here, though this game was close & that one wasn't, the feeling is the same. The Skins were "supposed" to win that one & they'd even beaten the raiders 37-35 in the reg. season, eerily similar to the 38-35 game these teams played this year.

Well, the secret is out on how to beat the Patriots. Get in Brady's face.

this is not a secret, its a universal truth.

That was a secret?

I dont know why it was such a secret.

I think everyone knew the "secret" to beating New England.

Jeez Louise, people. I get the point already.

Yes, there was no 'secret' to it, but it does seem lost on many front offices around the league as to how vital a menacing front four is to the success of a football team. Or maybe it's incredibly difficult to find 4 guys who can do it the way the Giants did it all year.

I remember some people found it mystifying when the Giants took Mathias Kiwanuka when they already had Strahan and Umenyora. I thought it was brilliant. And to the best of my knowledge, this guy Tuck basically came out of nowhere. To be able to have four fresh DE's who can wreak havoc on the best offensive line in the league can very often be the difference maker.

Look for the buzz words around draft time to be "QB pressure". I'll bet there's a huge rush on defensive ends come April.

Considering there's a good crop of d-lineman coming out I don't think that will be much of a shocker.

Teams always covet pass rushers, it's just not an easy position to stock up on. What the Giants have going is pretty rare. I don't think I've seen a d-line able to apply that kind of pressure on their own in a very long time.

They are going to be known as the SECOND best team in the history of the NFL.

Hands down, the patriots head to head would win verses any other Super Bowl loser in history. The '06 Bears, '05 Seahawks, even the '90 - '94 Bills, have nothing on these guys! Lets salute the second best team to ever play the game........

........hahahaaa.

Yeah, it is rare. It's hard enough just to get two good ends.

They picked Umenyiora in the 2nd round in '03; Tuck in the 3rd round in '05; and Kiwanuka in the 1st in '06. Clearly, they made a big effort to improve their pass rush, and they hit on each one -- That's hard to do.

I like that mentality though, but that's what you're able to do when you have lots of draft picks year after year. Props to Acorsi on those picks.

dude its called grooming/building a team...thats really how the pats and colts been so good..the draft good players and groom them into stars...Aj Smith out of San diego is one of the best...his last few draft picks:Merriman,Phillips,Rivers and Cromartie..not to mention Castillo..you build with young talent and trust them to grow. theres a reason why teams let players leave. stop picking up junk and build a great line on both sides..
