As im behind my desk at work i asked my boss how much does a superbowl ticket cost? He went on to guest-a-mate around 2500-4000 dollars for not even good seats. That pissed me off because how in the hell does a working joe ever afford to go the big game? The die hard fan who works a nine to five. Look in the stands this superbowl. 5 years ago the whole stadium was littered with jerseys. Now just a bunch of suits with their companys expense account. The superbowl became a social gathering for celebs and big-wigs, while the fans sit at home and watch it on their friends Sony. As a redskin fan it pisses me off that i will probably never make it to the game unless i win tickets or my son becomes the golden child. Give the game back to the fans..

Five Things You Might Not Know About The Super Bowl | PARADE Magazine (http://www.parade.com/articles/editions/2008/edition_02-03-2008/1Super_Bowl)
But this reflects a larger truism of the Super Bowl: It is not a place for the common fan. In fact, such a huge percentage of attendees are high rollers, salesmen, valued customers or CEOs that when you listen to the crowd at the game, you often can’t tell whom people are rooting for. That’s because, for many of them, victory has already been achieved. They got in.
I understand your frustration.
Earlier in the year Smootsmack and I tried to get tickets to a concert, but scalpers were selling them for $2k each.
Now we will never get to see Miley Cyrus :( :( :(
Give the girl back to the fans!

you don't need to look as far as the superbowl to see the issue you mentioned, look at the team WE root for....

I was thinking about this tonight watching the game. After seeing how much tickets go for, there is no way your average fan could attend this game. And if you think the regular seats are high, what about those box seats?

Speak for yourself jamf
Now that I'm a Disney employee I'm doing knocking back Capri Sun on the rocks on Miley Cyrus' tour bus, and playing Chutes & Ladders backstage with the cast of High School Musical on Ice. Livin' the high life baby!!

Don't hold out on us--how about some discounts to Blizzard Beach in Orlando for us Warpath members with kids?

yeah its just a big marketing scam now...like a memorial day sale or valentines day. We made the season not P Diddy or Paris Hilton...Don't get me wrong there are some hard core fans out there whom "belong". But when MTV jockeys get in and live the fans in the cold thats just terrible. Prices should be fair and tickets on a first come first serve.. A ticket shouldn't be sold no more then 3-4 times face value..right now its 12- whom has enough to pay whatevers asked

The NFL can charge whatever they want for the Super Bowl. It's the biggest game in sports, probably the biggest sports event in the world.
When your product is that good, you get to reap the rewards. Simple as that.
