He had 2 more picks in practice yesterday but he's still not working with the first team. Damn this staff is making him earn his keep! He'll be there soon enough though.

That's a great sign, make him really feel like he's earned it. I much prefer the Gibbs way.

hell yeah. there are 4 more preseason games left. Gibbs is making everyone earn their position (or at least feel like they're earning it). imagine if Hasselbeck had 4 more games like the last one? think Gibbs wouldn't make him the starter?? of course he would! he won a superbowl with Mark Rypien for chrissakes, Gibbs doesnt speak contract, big name, or draft round, he speaks RESULTS.

I agree. This is vintage Gibbs with rookies. He will be installed as the starter soon enough to have time to develop cohesion with the rest of the D. It sure looks like once he DOES get moved into the starting role, he will be impossible to ever move out!!

As far as TH, I really think Gibbs will wait until the after the 4th preseason game to make his final decision. I don't think the rustiness on the two frontrunners has dropped them yet, but I believe TH has played and practiced himself from a certain #3 slot into possible contention for a #1 or #2 position. (He still has a way to go to prove himself, but now will get that opportunity.) Regardless, I expect all 4 QB's to stay with the team, with Hamden on the PS.

where can a person find more pics, footage, sound bites, etc. from practice..... before wednesday anyways. Redskins.com just doesn't quite get enough out to the public I don't think.

yea joes reports were great.

and I hope hasselback keeps playing well, mabye brunell and ramsey need a little kick in the butt to get them into gear and play at a higher level.

Joe Crisp is a warpath legend.

I love the way ST is being made to earn the starting spot, he isn't exactly shy about his talent it just keeps it in perspective for him.
