Well, if they already made the hire, why not make it public? If it's one of the SB coaches and they're doing this under the table, then the crap's going to hit the wall if it's announced. Cries of "tampering" would be made and the Skins would have to compensate either the Pats of the G-Men (probably with draft picks). I hope that this really isn't the path they are on.
We didnt exactly make joe gibbs hiring very public either.

First, nice to see that we're applauding Snyder for following in Jerry Jones' footsteps. We'll see how much we like it when he names himself GM as Jones has done down in Dallas.

Hiring a staff before you hire a head coach is one sure way to let everyone know who's in charge. Zorn and Blache will be beholden to Snyder, not the head coach. So we've got Blache bringing his style of defense, Zorn with his style of offense, what is the head coach going to do again?
