I know you look at this and your like HUH?? Why would you ask this? Well got into a little disagreement with my college roommate about this topic. I am not a Romo fan at all. The guy no doubtly is nice. However I am not sold on his skills. He is a mobile, athletic, and put up incredible numbers this season. Romo in my opinion is a part of a great offense all across the board. A great tight end, a very good offense of line, and of course T.O. And everyone witnessed the complete falling out of Romo and the Cowgirls. Under pressure i dont think he comes through at all. Well I am a big JC fan, and my roommmate and me are huge Redskin fans. I popped the question in the next 3 or 4 season who would you want as a starting quarterback. Romo or JC. He said Romo and i said of course Jason. I think Jason has the heart of a true football player. He cried over a loss, he studies his ass off, and works hard. He is learning one of the most difficult playbooks and I think is going to be a great player *knock on wood*. However Romo was undrafted why wouldn't anyone see this talent before. He does put up great numbers but in the next few years I think he will be a joke to the cowboys in the future. Well I would love your guys opinion. I stood up for Campbell and called my buddy a Cowboy haha jokingly of course. Thanks guys , Go Skins

I don't know if your friend values a Skins fan opinion on this, but...

Honestly, I think they both have pluses and minuses as you pointed out. I think if you wanted to compare them like to boxers, pound for pound, I think Jason needs one more full season under his belt for us to make a fair comparison.

One thing I like for sure I like in Campbell over Romo is Campbell's poise and cool head. He seems like the type as he becomes more successful in the league, he'll be the same under the radar type guy. A very quiet and steady leader. And we all know the guy is tough as nails.

Being a Redskin fan, naturally I'm biased. So far neither has really won anything, therefore, I'll be in a better position to make a comparison when they both have enough time in the league to make a significant contribution.

You said "He Cries Over A Loss" haven't both Romo & JC cried over losses. Maybe JC cried harder and louder than Romo or maybe Romo faked his crying so people would feel sorry for him. While JC on the other hand had a bad ass football man cry. I think the diapers need to come off both before we will ever know which becomes the better of the two.

So far Romo has QB'd his team to a division title and the playoffs 2 years in a row. Campbell has not. Will he in the future, maybe, I hope so, but right now its Romo.

I think I'd rather wait and answer this question after both QBs have had a few years under their belt. I see great things from both quarterbacks. Both quarterbacks, for the most part, seem calm, cool, and collected. Romo appears to just enjoy playing the game, and Campbell seems more down to business. Both approaches appeal to me. I probably wouldn't be disappointed with either QB on my team, but things can change dramatically after your second or third year of starting.

Look at this mess of a thread up above. It IS, as Campbell17 intuitively stated, retarded. You don't make paragraphs and the initial post is way too long.

One thing you have to keep in mind is most of us here, me in this case, don't know who the hell you are. That means I don't care what the hell you think enough to read the novel length drivel you posted.

Make your points, make me laugh or cry in the first three sentences and then call it quits. Boom...three and out and then punt it away. Anymore and posters will be quick to deem it a retarded thread, hence this posting.

While I would have appreciated paragraphs, I thought the post well thought out and a fair question. If you choose not to read it fine. Much of what people write and post on this site is "novel length" and, with a few exceptions, not "drivel".

If you want drive through answers, go see ES.

As for the original question, I'm with those who say give Campbell another year before we make comparisons. Romo's been in teh league five (?) years and a starter for two. While he has put up big numbers, Romo still has yet to win a play-off game. Because of his apparent work ethic, attitude and athletic tools, I guess I think JC has the better long term potential but that Romo is the better player today.
