One more reason why I'm glad that we got Carlos and not PacMan. It's really hard to cover from the stands. The scary thing is that we were hell-bent on drafting CB with our pick 1st round pick after Smoot departed to Minnesota. Had Rogers and Antrel Rolle been selected before PacMan, we very well could have drafted this waste of life. I hope Goodell drops the hammer and suspends him for another year.
BTW, had Smoot stayed, both DeMarcus Ware AND Shawne Merriman were still on the board when we took Rogers. Probably a good case where taking the best player available would have worked out better than filling the immediate need at CB.

I'm sensing the possibility of a real-life remake of The Longest Yard...
But remember in the movie there was only one former pro behind bars, in real life there are a couple that could fill up the roster.
Vick, Pacman, Rae Carruth (sp?)...
Hell, they could even have former Terp great Lonny Baxter try to play TE. And I'm sure Marion Jones could bust a couple of heads, so long as she keeps juicing.
Kind of tired today, so I can't really think of anyone else who could be on the team. Poop.

In our defense, Rogers, Rolle, and Jones were listed on most boards as better than Ware and Merriman. Moreover, perhaps we did go with the "best player available" model and simply misjudged those players' respective abilities.

On Jim Rome's radio program he said the lady is his divorce lawyer. I don't really understand what is going on lol.

Here's what the woman says (this is in the ESPN.com article):
"...I was sitting in the office and he lunged at me numerous times in an effort to do grave bodily harm," Jackson wrote in the warrant application filed Jan. 7. "Veronica Jones, an owner, went into the hall to deal with a member of his entourage. I followed to gawk. He was in the hall, surprisingly reached over or around a security guard and sucker punched me in my left eye."
No one should EVER gawk at Pacman Jones.

I realize she's a lawyer, but "in an effort to do grave bodily harm?" Who speaks like that?

That was the "good guys" team (Burt Reynolds' team). The inmate team from the other prison was all professionals. We're talking about the bad guys here.
