Kind of a curious way to refer to Parcells, seemed like a bit of a slap
I think Garrett would be a real good fit in Baltimore.

Mike Tice is scheduled to interview tomorrow for the Dolphins job. But I expect it will be Sparano's job. And he'll take Todd Bowles with him to be his DC
I had never actually seen what Sparano looked like before that game. Is it just me or did he look like an extra from the Sopranos with those reddish glasses on?

I think there's going to be alot of GMs and owners falling off of Garrett's jock. I thought his playcalling sucked in the second half. They completely got away from the successful running game they had in the first half and got really predictable. When a team has a pass rush like the giants do and you basically put up a flashing neon sign that says "we're passing on every down" you're asking to get sacked. I think Garrett loses a little luster from that one...

Bleed Burgandy:
While I basically agree with you that Jason Garrett has been praised to the heavens without actually accomplishing much of anything, I just don't see how he was the problem with yesterday's loss to the Giants.
When the Cowboys tried to run the ball in the second half, nothing happened. I didn't notice any huge adjustment in the Giants' defense in the third quarter, so maybe Marion Barber ran out of gas??? Remember, he wasn't a feature back all year long. Or maybe the Cowboys hugely over-rated offensive line just played to their real capabilities instead of the inflated ones that the national media have hung on them???
And it wasn't Garrett's play call that made Tony Romo take that 15-yard sack in the fourth quarter even though he had rolled out of the pocket and could have just thrown the ball into Row 5.
I would not hire Jason Garrett as a head coach just yet. Some day, he may be the next Bill Walsh; anything is possible. But if I were throwing around my own money to hire a head coach in Jan 2008, he'd be way down on my list of interviewees.
