I think we could call the Dallas Cowboys choke artists.

Personally I'm hesitant to put him in the great category just yet. He's simply too inconsistent.

Agreed, I'd rank 'em like so:

1) P Manning
2) T Brady
3) B Favre
4) D Brees
5) B Roethlisberger
6) C Palmer
7) T Romo
8) D McNabb
9) M Hasselbeck
10) J Garcia

If you can't make top 5 of active players, you can't be considered GREAT. On that list above, I see 3 great ones. All others are varying degrees of good - very good.

And I should add Romo throws too many picks. He threw 13 last year in little over a half season of work and he tossed 19 in a full season this year.

Most in the league, by the way.

Palmer, Eli, and Kitna all had 20, but then right there were Romo and Derek Anderson with 19. So yeah, he sucks nards.

Romo will be setting up a new business venture this offseason:

What about his part time job: Golf ball recovery with a specialty in the Garden Hose technique?

Ah, damn, it was like a game before when I saw that. :(

Oh well, that's still taking a LOT of chances with the ball.

I love when he scrambles and just HEAVES it up for grabs.

funny stuff guys . . . i always thought romo didnt have what it takes to be a great nfl quarterback (few do) and was happy that the cowboys were putting their faith and success in his hands but half way thru this year i was starting to think i was wrong and maybe he is better than i thought making the cowboys a team to contend with.

thankfully, i wasnt wrong. he is inconsistent and takes too many risks.

funny quote from the booth guys yesterday "he doesnt throw it away when hes outside the pocket under pressure but does when hes in the pocket with no pressure".
