Can we now officially call Romo a choke artist?

Agreed. Crayton dropped 2 passes, one which probably would have been a TD in the 2nd half. Owens dropped 2 passes. Then the special teams. After the cowb!tches went up 17-14, the Giants returned the kick to mid-field. Giants got a first down and Ware had the huge sack. B!tches got the ball back and the punt coverage let them down.

Congrats bro. The G-men are just balling right now. To win that many in a row on the road is just impressive.

TO is one of the best WR's of all time. If he misses any amount of time of course it's going to hurt the offense and the QB. If Randy Moss misses time in NE no way do they score as many points w/out him.

Right. But Brady can work with even crappy receivers...

Not sure if I'd call him a choke artise but maybe he should not plan a vacation with the biggest game of his career coming up. I give the win to a hard playing Giants D and an O that did just enough to pull out the win. If you look at Eli's stats in the last couple of games he is peaking at the right time.

Yes he can work with crappy WR's cause he's Tom Brady. Dude is just a great QB with the sickest pocket pressence I've ever seen. They almost got to the SB last year with those crappy WR's. HOWEVER, I didn't see Brady throwing 50TD passes to those crappy wr's either.

Agreed....it's pretty bad when the headlines of the Dallas Morning News names his article after the game "Let the Vacations Begin...oh wait...They Already Have!" No support for Romo....not even in Dallas....at least TO has his back.

You took what I said a little out of context. The major discussion is whether or not it is too soon to call Romo a choke artist. My answer is yes it is premature. I used Peyton as an example of a guy who always got crap for not winning playoff games consistently. I am not saying that Romo is Peyton, but it is too early to tell who will have the better career when it is all over. The vacation issue that you brought up has no bearing on the thread question. Going on vacation does not earn you the label of "choker". It just means that you may have questionable work ethic or priorities. Either way it is not my place to decide. That is between him, his co-workers, and his boss; and has zero relevance to this conversation.

I may owe you an apology. As regards to the vacation I was agreeing that it was to early to call him a choke artist but this may be a reason for a poor performance and a very unprofessional thing for him to do.

I think Romo went to Neverland Ranch instead of Mexico....

I think it's a little early to call Romo a choke artist. I hate the guy and his stupid grin, but he's a great QB. Last year was squarely on him. This year, he was okay against the NYG. His receivers dropped a few balls, his top two receivers were less than 100%, his line got tired, and the playcalling was less than spectacular.

Personally I'm hesitant to put him in the great category just yet. He's simply too inconsistent.
