I was surprised Yoder wasn't in there more to block. Cooley was absolutely misused/abused early in that Seahawk's game by being made to stay back and help block
Plus he is not a very good blocker.

I think the problem is a lot of people forgot that Heyer was an undrafted rookie playing an away playoff game lined up against one of the DEs in the league. He got outplayed, no question. But we need to temper our expectations of him.
Thank you. I like Heyer, but it was a little unrealistic for people to start talking about him replacing Jansen.
The fact that GB was able to run on Seattle has nothing to do with the fact we could not. The weather was obviously a huge factor in slowing down Seattle's D. Their strength is speed and getting after the passer, and the weather totally neutralized them.

This game has made me sick to my stomach. We could not give Portis no room to run nor protect Collins and Green Bay is making it look easy. We have to really work on our o-line first and foremost. Ryan Grant is making Seatte's run defense seem like the worst in the league.
It's called home field advantage.

Weather's got a lot to do with it also.
This is true, the Seahawks D are not "mudders." The snow & field conditions were a real handicap for the style of D we play and the smaller guys we have. If the field was clear (or if the game was at Qwest) you would not have seen a blowout and 200+ yards from Grant. Not saying we would have won for sure, but the weather was a big problem.

Yes, this is very accurate.

If you compare how we played against Seattle and how GB did, I think one of the most worrying aspects of this game was that if you take away the two early scores that came from GB turn overs this has to be one of the most one sided p/off games I can remember. I’m sure the weather played a part but I think it really emphasizes how much we have to improve the O Line and maybe at WR to be even close next year

he's been the 2nd best RB since he became the starter this year only behind LT so he actually is a really good Running back
Yea, but who knew Ryan Grant when he got drafted and played in his first game? I bet u don't know..not to start anything
did he even get drafted?

No he didn't get drafted I didn't even know him untill his first start with the Packers. He was 3rd string RB, but what I was trying to say is it's not like he's some crappy running back just getting lucky against the Seahawks he's put up amazing #'s for only starting half the year. Like a lot of people are pointing out here if CP had a better O-line I'm sure he would have had a better game and the weather was a BIG help for the Packers but Ryan Grant has been playing extremely well he's been having big runs in almost every game with or without the snow.... so what I was trying to say is he is pretty much a nobody but he's REALLY REALLY good for a non drafted RB in his first year... oh yeah he's averaged 145 yards on the ground in 8 starts and has 1130 yards since week 8 he's been doing a good job against a lot of teams not just the Seahawks...
