On Donavan McNabbs blog he talks about how Philly needs play makers. Eagles need ‘some playmakers,’ McNabb says - NFL - MSNBC.com (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22575864/)Every quarterback in the NFL wants playmakers, but they know their place in the team. They don't complain on their BLOG that they need playmakers.:nono: If they want playmakers, they go up to their coach and be a man and speak what they are thinking! I think that this is bad timing too, because there isn't a certainty that McNabb will be their quarter back next year. They drafted Kolb for a reason. Eagles fans dislike McNabb too, beacuse he is bad under pressure and is a baby. Thoughts?

In this day and age, sometimes a personal blog is the most effective way to communicate one's thoughts. I have no issue whatsoever with McNabb expressing to the world what he has lacked in Philly for years, and even when T.O. was experimented with, the ship still wasn't righted. It is a shame he has to play for that team and its fanbase. But, circumstances as they are, he felt the need, as the most valuable player on the Eagles, to outrightly take the front office to task for its timidity in picking off playmakers who could truly make that squad a perennial offensive powerhouse. Just because he plays for a hated rival doesn't mean I have any problems with his frank and unsurprising writing.

Bad under pressure? Man he has ran all over us in the past (damn it) and many other teams as well. The last couple of games he played, he still looked dangerous out of the pocket.

As far as the fans not liking him, those classless bastards would turn on their own mother.

Philly fans would hate Lombardi if he rose from the grave to coach them.

nothing new here ...and you wonder why they stay under the cap...and you can never please philthy fans...

i wouldn,t mind D. mcnuggett going elsewhere but i don,t blame him for speaking out..i just would have gone to the coaches for that.i do my very own blogging on bowlspace so thats my way of showing my efforts from week to week or showing my displeasure of the bowling alleys service ... just another outlet..or a way to get your word out i guess.

I don't see a problem with what he said. If he said his coach is an idiot or his OL can't block then it would be an issue, but he stated something rather obvious. I think about 25+ teams (Redskins included) would be thrilled to have had what McNabb has given Philly throughout his career. He's right below the Manning/Brady class of QB IMO..

Sorry, McNabb is still a beast......under presssure or not. Check out his stats from this year; if this is a down year for him, then I'd love to have several "down years" at QB in DC. Moreover, Philly does need playmakers. He has probably the worst WR corps in the NFC, if not in the NFL. He probably shouldn't have gone public with his sentiments, but he speaks the truth.

I agree with McNabb. Westbrook is their only playmaker.

It hurts to the bone to brag on a player that is on a team I hate with a passion, but Westbrook is quite amazing.

He seriously is. He's one of the very best players in the entire league, at any position. He got All Pro this year, finally getting the kudos he deserves. No single player in the NFC makes me more nervous when he's lined up against the Skins. Not even TO.
