I know that we all would rather have Ocho-cinco, but our best secondary player is gone so how about Ed Reed? He is a Free Agent, and him and Landry could do some damage back there. It may be the thing we need, he could be a mentor to younger guys in the secondary like Landry and Rogers, instantly make our Defense from a B to an A. He can be a good team guy, and most importantly, if we get him, New England can't!

Great player. Pass. Will be too expensive and doesn't address a major need.

Personally I think Ed Reed would be a nice addition if the price were right which I doubt.

I think Ed Reed would be a great addition but you talk about CJ being high you know Reed isn't any cheaper.

Isn't he like the most important player on that team? What makes you think he will ever hit the market. I haven't heard anything about this.

He's not a free agent, and neither is Chad. The difference is that there has been some talk about a potential that Cincy could trade Chad and I've not heard anything about Reed. I really don't want this to happen, but for what it's worth I actually think Philadelphia would be an ideal landing spot if the Bengals did end up moving Chad.

I think Ed Reed is worth every penny we would spend..
