Vick to drug rehab program? (Richmond.com)
"There are indications disgraced NFL quarterback Michael Vick is no longer behind bars in Virginia and has gone to a drug rehabilitation program in Kansas.
U.S. Bureau of Prisons officials could not immediately be reached by The Times-Dispatch, but the bureau's Web site shows Vick as being "in transit."
According to a weekend report on Yahoo! Sports, Vick applied to join a prison-monitored drug rehabilitation program in Leavenworth, Kan., and has apparently been moved to the facility.
Vick, 27, was sentenced Dec. 10 to 23 months for his role in a dogfighting operation run from a property he owns in Surry County. Vick was originally being held at a state-run jail in Warsaw on Virginia's Northern Neck.
Vick's three co-defendants all received lighter sentences than Vick, partly because the Atlanta Falcons quarterback had failed a drug test for marijuana after pleading guilty to the dogfighting charges.
According to the Yahoo! report, Vick will be held in a minimum security wing at Leavenworth."
