The missed FG was a game changer i thought. No doubt. We had the momentum and gave it back.

Give it up to the seahawks thougth, they went down and scored a TD. We just didn't have enough last night.

I hate to say "I told you so" with regard to Suisham. His inconsistency was the chief reason Dallas dumped him.

I'm sorry, but there was too much MOJO going on for the Skins to lose this game. How perfect is that for Landry to get two INTs playing Sean's position. I swear, I was sitting there thinking, HOLY SHIT, that's Sean wearing #30. Landry had a great game, and represented big time.

Bottom Line: If Suisham makes that field goal Wii win. You can't miss a 30 yard field goal there...You just can't do it. I thought Gibbs was going to bite his lip off after that. That was the beginning of the end. 17-13 would have been good, but 14-13 gave them the chance they needed to come back and make the Skins pay. Suisham isn't living remotely close to D.C. next year.

The fact that we now know we have that f#@%ing idiot possibly kicking field goals to win for us.......sits like a lump in my stomach:vomit:

This was the playoffs and you miss a short kick like that! Sad

there was lots of blame to go around, but missing that kick probably doomed us,even Philip Daniels said so,so the defense must have had a letdown

We have the perfect opportunity, getting that turnover, deep in their territory," defensive end Phillip Daniels said. "Not to score on that turnover, that changed the momentum of the game."

another qoute from Casey Rabach,
We felt like we were turning the corner," Redskins center Casey Rabach said. "Then we had that missed field goal and everything went awry."

2 qoutes from 2 different pklayers tells me it def affected them and the game,Suisham's name is dirt right now in the locker room, lol

It is so lame blaming the kicker. Pro Bowl Kicker Nick Folk's season average is 83% (26/31) and Suisham's is 82% (29/35), Suisham is also 51/52 on PAT. Cut the dude some slack. There's plenty of blame to go around.

Like when Folk shanked that short one at FedEx?

Look, I'm not going to place all the blame on Suisham and I feel like that's kinda what's happening here. He had a good season, better than I think most of us expected.

On the year he was 29 of 35 for 82.9%.

Your boy Folk was slightly more accurate with 26 of 31 for 83.9%.

Not much of a difference between the two kickers.

Agreed, looks like we just posted the same thing.

kicker is fine, offense just sucks and needs to be beefed up for 08. we need a LG and RT in the worst way, and i think jensen is going to be injury prone from here out. cant blame the kicker for a playoff team that cant punch it in from the 14 after having all the momentum our way.
