tdSKINS1 01-05-2008, 09:39 PM The Redskins were given a vast amount of chances today and really squandered them. The D kept us in it with Landry and key tackles. However, dropped balls which was key when we got the kick off recovery by mix. Cooley dropped a very catchable ball on the one. A TD there would have but us up by 8 with around 9 to go. The game in my opinion would have over.. the seahawks most likely would have been drained by another TD. The missed FG ridiculous by a professional.. pressure or not its 30 yards. Moss giving up on a route very upsetting but we shouldn't have thrown so deep on the first play. Costly penalties, especially on Mike Sellers the block in the back. It was a great season, and a magical ride. Can't wait till next year.
SFREDSKIN 01-05-2008, 09:41 PM Season is over get over it, we over achieved and had a great comeback season. Suisham's missed field goal was a momentum changer but the TD hasselbeck threw to Burleson, Priloeau was burnt.
tdSKINS1 01-05-2008, 10:05 PM Iight dude its not that i'm crying myself to sleep over it, i'm just expressing what really cost us the game. Just stating my opinion bud.
SFREDSKIN 01-05-2008, 10:08 PM I'm just not in the mood to hear any whining from anyone, we played a game made mistakes, our OL got outplayed and we lost as simple as that. Don't take it personal.
TheMalcolmConnection 01-05-2008, 10:17 PM We at least got to see that Landry could at least come close to the expectations we had for Taylor. He'll never be ST, but at least we can see a little of him in Landry.

Overachieved...that is a bunch of BS. If ST was here to interview, he would tell you that the Skins didn't play to their talent level and let one go tonight. Bottom line is there are still seven teams left that have a chance to go to the superbowl in the NFC, and none of them are better than the Skins.

We over achieved with 6 replacements for starters. Did we not? Look at the Steelers and their injuries, they are getting their behinds kicked at least we were in it till the end.

1) There are five teams
2) Each team beat the Skins at least once this year.
We are/were a better team than the Giants. The three most talented teams in the NFC are Dallas, Green Bay, and Tampa Bay, and the fourth most talented team, Seattle, did just put a pretty good licking on us. So at best, we are the 5th best team in our own conference.

Agree--but hate to admit it--all of those teams are better than us...

But Taylor isn't here. And today neither was Rogers, Thomas, Jansen, Campbell, McIntosh. So yes today (and for the past several weeks) we overachieved.
