The thread starter is addressing the TD that put Seattle up 19-13. Ya know, the one that sailed over the head of Pierson.

I can't fault the D for finally breaking on that play. They really kept us in the game until the offense got going. This game was there for the taking had the O punched in a TD after recovering the kickoff with a 14-13 lead.

i can fault the d on that play , PP was 10 yards behind the wr on that play. he had 1 on 1 coverage and he let that receiver run right past him. thats horrible defense, regardless of how our offense is playing.

Well, this was never a defense that was going to shut anyone completely down. Prioleau got turned around, and the 'hawks got an easy score.

Still, the D overall had a decent game. Holding a pretty good team on their home field to two offensive touchdowns and two field goals is about all you can ask from Williams & Co.
