obviously we didnt deserve a chance if we lost this game honestly
thanks for a great season in the midst of tragedyMeks 01-05-2008, 08:07 PM obviously we didnt deserve a chance if we lost this game honestly pg86 01-05-2008, 08:08 PM Really...Dallas would of lost if they played that seahawks team today...seriously that seahawks team could of beat the pats the way they were playing skinsfaninok 01-05-2008, 08:09 PM Well its just so hard to win in seattle, they are great at home but next week GB will beat em. I hope NY beats TB and goes to dallas and wins!!!! jdlea 01-05-2008, 08:10 PM I agree, I'm pretty pleased with what this team accomplished this year. Not overjoyed, because, early in the season, they made me believe they could be a much better football team and it never really happened, but after the Sean Taylor tragedy I admire the team and especially Joe for what they did to rally and make it this far. All that said, I will feel very differently if, coming into next season, there is some sort of QB controversy in Washington. I believe Todd demonstrated today that this is not his team. I feel like Jason must step up and take that next step to become a very good starter next season and they could win this division. DynamiteRave 01-05-2008, 08:10 PM obviously we didnt deserve a chance if we lost this game honestly I don't think that's true. I think we wouldn't have deserved it if we lost to Dallas backups. Seattle is a decent team. I don't think they're great. But our offensive line is absolutely inexcusably bad. And the Redskins have to address that this offseason by getting some depth. I mean the front 4 of Seattle absolutely bent us over all game. And that was the problem with the whole game. I think if TC had more time back there, we would have done better. If the O-line had blocked better Portis might have been able to run more than just 2-3 ypc. I think the team did great coming back from 5-7 not a lot of teams could do that. I believe the Redskins are still RIGHT on the cusp of blossoming into something great and hopefully they can put the pieces together over the offseason. rypper11 01-05-2008, 08:12 PM God I wish this was like Madden so we could get the FA signings and Draft started immediately. skinsfaninok 01-05-2008, 08:13 PM Samuels is a stud but when Jansen and Thomas went down it finally caught up 2day! Heyer will be productive though. Next year we need to draft a DE or OL in the first rd. Maybe pick up A WR at some point Hog's Breath 01-05-2008, 08:15 PM I'm really proud of the team this year. For me, after 5-7, all the injuries, and ST's murder, I think we almost over achieved. And no way Collins or Suisham takes the blame for this loss. Collins was the one who helped get us in the playoffs, so everyone needs to chill on the criticisms. If anything, TC should never have to pay for a meal in the District again. rypper11 01-05-2008, 08:19 PM I don't think that's true. I think we wouldn't have deserved it if we lost to Dallas backups. If the O-line had blocked better Portis might have been able to run more than just 2-3 ypc. . Gotta humbly disagree. They have 4 defensive players in the Pro Bowl and Kerney has played great his whole career. Kerney and Peterson are studs and they played a great game. Rabach is great at making line adjustments and is a really good center. Samuels and Kendall are better than average. Fabini should not even be a backup at this point of his career (unless it is in the AFL). And Heyer, well, he went undrafted for a reason. Give him some time but he's in no way capable of blocking Kerney even w/ help. So yes, their front 4 dominated (with help from Lofi and Peterson) but they are better. MTRedskinsFan 01-05-2008, 08:20 PM DIDO!!! Watching the team play up to its potential the last 4 games of the regular season was priceless. Like someone else said... I'm ready for a break. Honestly, i don't even plan on watching the playoffs and maybe not even the SB this year. I want to remember this season for what it meant to the Skins and us fans. Hail! |
