I know everybody if thinking about Seattle right now but I just stumbled upon next year's list of opponents (nfl.com) and it looks pretty nice to me.

I know that in this day and age teams turn around in a nano-second but I couldn't help but smile when I saw that we play games against the two weakest divisions (at least in my opinion) in football. The NFC West and the AFC North with NO and Detroit thrown in. Besides our usual NFC East games, it broke down like this:

Home Games - Arizona, S.L., Cleveland, Pittsburgh and N.O.
Away Games - S.F., Seattle, Baltimore, Cincy and Detroit

If someone already posted this I apologize...I did not see it already out there.

Wow an away game at Baltimore. That's going to be awesome. I can't wait for that game.

Battle of the beltway teams!

I agree it looks good now, but so much changes from year to year in the NFL. A team that's great one year can really suck the next, and vice versa. Like Baltimore, Cleveland, New Orleans, the Jets, etc, etc, etc.

I'll tell you what, that Cleveland game in FedEx should be fun. I'm so annoyed that the Titans made the playoffs over the Browns. The Browns are much more fun to watch. The Titans are garbage in my opinion. They only beat the Colts backups by 3 points and that's how they earn a playoff berth? Ewwww.

Nice, we get to play the NFC West. It looks like we might have a chance at 12+ win season if everyone stays healthy. Hope the Skins win this weekend...it's going to make it more pleasurable going to next year's Seahawks game.

Skins vs. Steelers. My husband and I will be going to that one. Of course, he'll have to leave that terrible towel at home.

Is there much of a Skins-Ravens rivalry? Giants-Jets is pretty non-existant. I used to have a Football computer game that allowed you to create your own league. I remember I went East-West ala hockey and basketball. Put Jets and Giants in same division along with Skins and Ravens, san fran oakland, any of your natural geographic rivalries.

I moved away from DC before the Ravens existed so I'm not speaking locally, but I hate the Ravens. I hate them for the same reason I hate the Colts though. Teams that sneak away from a solid and supportive fan base piss me off. I can't blame teams that relocate due to a lack of support (ATL?) Cleveland has always supported that team even when they suck.

I had a bunch of friends from Cleveland when they Ravens left. Think about it, the city gave the Indians a new park, paid to build the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, paid for renovations on the Gund Arena, and then said no to the Browns. Of course, after they left, the city was more than happy to build a new stadium for an expansion team.

How does it look nice? All of these teams could beat us and vice versa.
