yeah, I just rewatched the game and he was playing the ball... he just slid into the glenn. I guess they have to do something to get the team up for playing us in two weeks... they certainly don't want to get their asses handed to them again... better make up some locker room material.

Glenn needs to put on his "Big Girl" panties and deal with it.

What a big baby, they shouldn't let him drink water or gatorade on the sideline, he should have just a milk bottle with a nipple on it.

This is completely ludicrous. I saw Glenn's comments last night, but withheld judgment until I knew which play he was talking about (I figured it was the one being referenced here). I have to believe that if he goes back and looks at the tape, he will admit (probably never publicly) that it was indeed a clean play.

If anything, Landry tried to slow himself down so that he would not hit Smoot or Glenn. If you look the replay from the endzone, the way Landry's hands and knees hit the turf, it's obvious he was trying to slow himself down. Look at his right knee when it hits the ground. If he was going for Glenn's knees, he would not have kept his leg bent; he would have allowed it to straighten, which would have reduced resistance.

Another thing I read, is that Glenn hinted that he had heard before the game that Landry was after him. Absolutely ridiculous.

It's been a long time since Terry Glenn played in a full speed tackle football game. He's just being a crybaby. It's a contact sport, Terry. There's a reason Parcells referred to him as "she." She's scared of Laron Landry.

I cant believe this is even an issue, and if anything this is a cheap shot at Landry's character.

Anyone watching that and saying Landry was going for his legs needs to have their driver's license revoked because they clearly have major vision problems.

That's the biggest bunch of crap. If Laron Landry were trying to play dirty and hurt Terry Glenn, Terry Glenn would be on crutches after that game. Don't give me this, "he was trying to play a little dirty" bs, he could have really hurt if he wanted to at any point, especially on that play, if he pops his shoulders up at all, then it would have hit him in the knee, or he could have just not dove for the ball and body rocked him, he did neither, it was an innocent mistake.

I agree. The refs don't seem to hesitate on calling unnecessary roughness calls especially on Landry. I think if Landry was intentionally trying to hurt Glenn the refs would've thrown the flag. I mean if you intentionally go for the knees, don't you get a chop block or a clipping call? The refs thought it wasn't intentional, and it obviously wasn't.
