Of course they are going to challange a play they know their going to be able to get reversed. That has nothing to do with playing safe and not caring to much abut the win.

This is what I love about this forum...great civil discussion with rival fans...As a true fan of the sport I appreciate their input and perspectives.

I always have to do a double take on your avatar because you sound like a Skins fan each post or thread you make.

It's called being a football fan,I love the Giants I don't like Coughlin....I wish him no harm and yes he has taken this team to the playoffs 3 years running but only Joe Gibbs could pull the Skins thru the crap they went thru this year. He's not a hall of Famer for no reason!I love Gibbs ,I live in Maryland .............but I bleed blue.:headbange

First off congrats on your win.. Now come on anybody watching that game could tell Dallas was not giving their all. Not taking anything away from you guys you are a hell of a team and I think the 2nd best team in the NFC even though your record doesn't show it. I can see the Skins playing in Irving for sure. That being said if we play our best and you play your best I highly doubt your going to come out with the win on that one. Enjoy your win and good luck in Seattle.
I think you make a great point about if both teams play their best. The problem I think Dallas is going to have is turning it on after over a month of playing halfheartedly because the games were meaningless. If they are able to flip that switch (and TO is healthy) I think Dallas is a more talented team overall. The Saints showed last year that a driven team can sometimes beat a more talented one.

Uhhhh.....Dallas sucks. End of story. Dont make excuses because thats all Ive gotten all week form the pithy Dallas fans in my area. If BiG D had won, all the shit you would be talking would be unbelievable. Just give it up and admit, the Skins stepped on your balls and crushed your playoff hope and dreams. The next team Dallas plays will probably beat the shit out of the them they way they are playing now.

Not good to be a Dallas fan.....

I'm just glad we go to dallas instead of Green Bay if we win. ROMO vs. FAVRE....hmmmmmm tough choice, I'll take the HOF guy.

Also Collins vs. Romo another interesting comparison. Veteran Collins with little in game
experience vs. young Romo with two years experience but botched snap in '07.

How often has there been a division in which no team finished with a losing record?

High ankle sprains usually take 4-5 weeks to recover from. James Thrash had one in the Philly game in November and just returned to the lineup for the Minnesota game a couple weeks back.

Not concerned about that. The Cowboys did not try to play yesterday. The outcome was predictable days before the game. 5 key starters did not even make the trip to DC.

The team made no secret of the fact that the primary goal was to emerge from the regular season without major injury. Not to win at Washington, mind you. The playbook was cut in half and what was seen was very "vanilla" offensive and defensive schemes.

Cowboys did not even show up yesterday. Everyone knew that was what was going to happen, and that is what did happen.
Hey sandtrapjack, I'm just curious here, how many players did your team put on IR this year? Oh, and also did your best player on defense get murdered this year too? Just asking....

Okay, a few things, about your team:

1)We almost beat you at home at full strength, we didn't have ST, and you guys threw 4 deep bomb scores. All of your points. Dont expect it now with TO nursing an injury, and Laron Landry at short safety.

2) 27-6 is enough said. You played with much of your starters until your second set in the 3rd quarter. We kicked your excuse for a team's ass.

3) We are sprinting into the play-offs and improving every game. You guys are limping in, with 2 losses, and an almost loss to Detroit.

If I were you, I'd pray the Seahawks get it done. If not, you shouldn't feel so confident; when Americas REAL team flies into Dallas.
