I agree. Although, I do think Sean's passing helped to galvanize the team. It is undeniable, however, that the offense gained confidence, dare I say "swagger", under Collins. Now we don't just have a little choo choo that thinks it can. We have one that knows it can. I also think it's no accident that "The D" picked it up and both "The O" and "The D" are now feeding off one another. Now if we can just get "The ST" to open some lanes for ARE we'd be in Hog Heaven. BTW, can anyone define for me athletic intelligence? Ray Brown used it to describe Collins last night and I'm not entirely sure what he was getting at. My guess was that he was making the maximum use of his physical and mental abilities.

Campbell getting hurt and Collins coming in. An O that could do nothing is now scoring points and looking like a juggernaut because the team now has a QB that knows how to run the O.

I agree. The minute Collins stepped in, the offense just took off.....starting with that pass to Todd Yoder.

Shawn Springs' interception right before halftime in the Bears game was the turning point of the season. Still fresh in everyone's memory was the fiasco at the end of the Bills game, the Redskins had scored no points in the first half, and Campbell had just been lost for the rest of the season. The Bears are trying to put up some points before the half, Springs intercepts a pass, brings the ball into Bears territory and helps set up Collins' first TD pass to Yoder right before the half. The rest was history.

It's really hard to say....the season been a wild ride with ups and downs. But one thing is a fact with out Joe Gibbs faith in God I really believe this team would have not come back after Sean death the way they have! Yes a lot has been said about the Bills game and the two times out but MrGibbs is a great coach, father and man. But now what he is showing us is what his faith in God can do for himself and those around him! I really don't know how any coach could keep a team together after what has happen this year without the faith that Gibbs is showing us all. No matter what happens from here out it's sure been fun to watch!

The notion that faith in god has anything to do with the Skins winning is the dumbest thing I have ever read on this site.

Oh, dear. A religion debate has entered the fray, which could only be made worse if we add politics into the mix. Let's just stick to Redskins football.

I think faith played a role and that's what he may have been getting at.

What kind of role could faith have possibly played? Gibbs prayed harder than his opponents? God likes Gibbs more because he prays a lot? It wasnt faith that got the Skins winning, it was hard work and the right people in the right positions at the right time.
