I don't mean to start a controversy, but in the face of the Mitchell report doesn't it seem strange that no one has yet addressed potential steroid abuse among NFL referees. I mean we've had at least one living example for many years, arguably the most popular ref in the NFL, Ed Hochuli.

Ya can't tell me he's all natural. The man is 57 years old, a trial attorney and has six kids! Where did he find the strength for that? And now we also have a 61 year old referee, Jim Quirk, putting Green Bay linebacker, Nick Barnett, in a rear naked choke that Chuck Liddell would envy. Even more stunning is the fact that the player threatened to file a grievance because he was subdued by a man twice his age!

I just wanted to assure everyone that I am absolutely serious about my concern for this issue and this is not some feeble attempt at comic relief for us before a monumental game against our archrival. Honest.

What does it matter if refs re actually using steroids?? I mean, they ren't playing or anything like that.. In fact, I would not blame them if they use it, they do get hurt while reffing a game - gets hit by a huge guy with football pads, it gotta hurts..

Can we discuss refs and Hemorrhoids?

I don't care if the refs are roiding out daily... as long as they don't interfere with the games any more than usual.

I DO think there are still ways NFL players are juicing. I think there's no way TO came back from that broken leg in like 4 weeks to play in the superbowl without some HGH or something...

I am astounded by your naivete! Next thing you'll tell me is that Jack LaLane was all natural and that the "Juicer" really leads to a healthier life style. Maybe you even think that education is the key to success in life. Me no think so. Me know better.
