If you can't win at home against a team that has nothing to play for and is going to rest it's players you don't deserve to go to the playoffs.
Very true.

Gmanc711 12-27-2007, 01:34 AM I agree if we can't wrap it up against the COWBOYS for the PLAYOFFS I don't wanna go. Seriously, me either. I want to go in red hot, play Seattle, hopefully come out iwth a victory, than get the real match up of the Skins v Cowboys in 2 weeks. Seriously, if we have to back in by losing to second and third stringers, than forget it. We shouldnt be there. SouperMeister 12-27-2007, 01:21 PM I don't want to back into the playoffs. If we can't beat a Dallas team with nothing to play for, what chance would we have in Seattle? I'd almost prefer staying at home and getting the higher draft pick if we lose to Dallas. scowan 12-27-2007, 02:17 PM I don't want to back into the playoffs. Totally agree with the thinking here. Let's say the Skins lose, the Vikes lose and the Saints lose, the Skins getting in, would make us all feel like being the last kid picked to play on the playground because no one else wants us. "OK, someone has to take them, hey Seahawks, you got them!" Monksdown 12-27-2007, 03:27 PM Question: If we don't beat Dallas, and back in by the other two winning. And Collins throws a few picks, who starts against Seattle then? scowan 12-27-2007, 03:49 PM Question: If we don't beat Dallas, and back in by the other two winning. And Collins throws a few picks, who starts against Seattle then? I really don't see that happening. Collins is playing very efficent. Even if he has a bad game, he has earned it. Besides, if the Skins lose this week, they don't deserve the Playoffs and I really think that one of the other teams, Vikings or Saints, will win this week anyway. Probably the Saints. I really don't see a senerio where Collins plays bad, the Skins lose and yet they still get in and Coach Gibbs has to make this decision. If collins plays bad, and the Skins lose, they are done. IF Collins plays great and the Skins win, you have to start Collins @ Seattle. dmek25 12-27-2007, 04:55 PM while i always have said a win, is a win, is a win. i really don't think the skins have any chance of winning a playoff game if they lose to Dallas and back into the playoffs. that win will be 4 in a row, and keep some much needed momentum going into Seattle pg86 12-29-2007, 08:35 PM I think the vikings have about as much a chance of beating the broncos as we do the cowboys... the game Im most worried about outta all of those is ours and the bears....Remember that the Vikings are an indoor team, they are playing in DENVER man have any of you ever been there this time of year??!? Those conditions aren't going to favor the vikings...not only that....I think these guys are going to try and finish strong Denver will win that game... |
