Collins has done a great job of not turning the ball over. I dont think anybody mentions that. In 3 games he has 4 touchdowns and 0 interceptions.
A Playoff question: Campbell or Collins?Redskin#46 12-24-2007, 01:07 PM Collins has done a great job of not turning the ball over. I dont think anybody mentions that. Hardly surprising given the amount of his professional football experience and consistency being in the same offense for so long. Stay with Collins until Week 1 in 2008. Campbell will have plenty of film to watch during the offseason and the opportunity to understand better how Saunders offense works. Agreed. There's no point in pulling TC if we make it to the playoffs. Just being out a 3-4 weeks with a dislocated knee and then trying to come back only spells disaster in my mind. It seems like an awfully short time to try to let the knee heal and then rehab it. TC finishes out the year and JC takes over next season. EternalEnigma21 12-24-2007, 01:09 PM Personally, I think if we don't have the confidence to put our healthy starting qb in in the playoffs we need to look elsewhere for a qb. I think it would break his confidence. If they felt that way I think they would've put him on IR. Collins has played great so far, but if you bench a healthy campbell for him now, why would you put campbell back in the starting position next year? I don't get that at all. scowan 12-24-2007, 01:13 PM I thought the wildcard teams played each other? Maybe I'm smoking crack? 6 teams make the playoffs, Seeds 1 and 2 get a bye and don't play in the Wildcard games. Teams 3, 4, 5, and 6 play each other. 3 plays at home against 6 and 4 plays at home against 5. Washington would be 6 and play 3 who is Seattle. Tampa (seed 4) get the Giants (seed 5) in Tampa. There I got it. WE HAVE TO BEAT THE 'BOYS!!! SFREDSKIN 12-24-2007, 01:15 PM 6 teams make the playoffs, Seeds 1 and 2 get a bye and don't play in the Wildcard games. We owe those guys big time, it won't be easy they have some great defensive players, Tatupu, Kearney, Peterson, Trufant. saden1 12-24-2007, 01:17 PM Right, if we win it's off to Seattle for some sweet revenge. Looking forward to feasting on Chickenhawks :) PIG#1 12-24-2007, 01:23 PM You Have To Go With Collins.he Seems Like He Is Very Comfortable In This Offense Right Now More Than Cambell.he Has Played Well And Don't Rush Campell Back.collins Could Be The Man.i See Two Michigan Guys In The Super Bowl At Qb.collins And Brady.joe Gibbs Wins His Fourth Super Bowl With 4 Differnt Qb.thats My Xmas Present. I cant believe I'm the only person who thinks Campbell should or would get his job back if he's healthy. Slingin Sammy 33 12-24-2007, 01:32 PM It ain't broke, don't fix it. Collins. |
