We haven't faced any veteran QBs so I hope we can be successful in this defensive scheme against Hasselbeck and the Seahawks.

To all you Gibbs doubterstatrave 12-25-2007, 12:59 AM We haven't faced any veteran QBs so I hope we can be successful in this defensive scheme against Hasselbeck and the Seahawks. Or Dallas's backup Brad Johnson SFREDSKIN 12-25-2007, 01:33 AM So Saunders get's no credit for bringing in Collins in the first place? Joe B. gets no mention for coaching up Heyer and holding the line together? Greg W. is not responsible for getting the best out of Reed D? This is the stuff I'm talking about. Yes Gibbs deserves credit cause he is the HC and he's the the team leader. Job well done. But you make it sound like he's the only guy on the freaking coaching staff. Last time I checked Gibbs does not call the defense or the offense. Let's give the whole staff props, not just Gibbs. And when we get beat, it's always important not to lay everything on Gibbs. Of course all the staff deserves credit. Remember who brought Brunnell in 2005? It's not just Collins or Saunders or Bugel. Joe always surrounds himself with a great staff remember Jim Hanifan? He replaced Bugel in Gibbs I, trust me it starts at the top, this man knows what he's doing. He's not the senile old man that people think he is. HOGTIMUS PRIME 12-25-2007, 03:00 AM An equal amount of praise should go to Saunders/Gibbs for the offense. We put up 32 points on Minny, in their own house, without 6 starters (3 on offense), and with a 36 y.o. backup QB who has taken about 3 games worth of reps in the last decade. I would give a lot of the credit to the bears, if they haden't knocked Campbell out for the season our season would be over, Campbell wasen't winning 3 games in a row. |
