Redskins offer Gibbs two-year extension (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3166931&campaign=rss&source=NFLHeadlines)

Just reported on ESPN a few minutes ago. Snyder seems pretty confident.

Cool. This works both ways. If Gibbs is completely spent he can say thanks but no thanks and still leave under his own terms. I say he has a few more years left in him.

This is just a lame duck masking extension. I wouldn't surprised to see him leave after next year.

If so, it's good news. Believe the old man can still do it.

what happens to Greg Williams now? I hope he still stays and waits it out. There are going to be alot of positions open though. Could end up replacing Coughlin

We've only been hearing that since year 1 it seems.

If he agrees to a 2 year extension I think he will honor it.

Now I hope the Dolphins fire Cam Cameron and we hire him and groom him as Joe's successor.
