Alright, I'll admit up front that this is a weird one, but it's interesting nonetheless.

According to Pro Football Reference (http://www.pro-football-reference.com/friv/nonqb.htm), ARE is 17-21 for 235 yds and 3 TDs for a rating of 152.9 (!).

Ladainian Tomlinson is the only other guy even close, and while he has a better rating than ARE (154.4) he's got about half as many attempts (11).

Just another useless stat for discussion, brought to you and sponsored in part by "mheisig's Slow Day at Work."

LT also has better than twice the TD's (7).

What about Clinton, though? He's been pretty decent when we've had him run the HB pass

I'd be happy if he could just get consistent production being a wide receiver and punt returner.

In almost two complete years, we haven't seen either.

I'm glad you brought this up. Where has this been all season?? If Antwaan is so clutch as a qb why haven't why used him like we did last year? I hope Al saunders throws in some trickery during the vikings game.

ARE threw a pass a couple of weeks ago. He was looking to throw deep, but saw that it wasn't there and threw to Cooley over the middle for a 1st down. It was a good, smart play.

Hmmm....I think CP's career QB rating has jumped a little.

Maybe

I thought it was pretty funny that Michaels brought up the same points as this thread. Maybe one of our members here is secretly... Al Michaels! My guess is Earthquake.

I'm given the nod to CP after this vikings WIN, but OK catch by El being there wasn't anyone within 15 yards of him....bout time. lol

I would say when we make the playoffs look for him to do more passing, kind of like he did in Pittsburgh. They dont want to show all of all secrets. Lets just hope we can get a run like Pittsburgh did.

The late, great Walter Payton threw a pretty sweet ball for a running back. Somebody mentioned Tomlinson, but most of his TD passes have been gimmes in the red zone. Payton AVERAGED over 30 yards per completion with 8 career TDs
