Risk or Reward Albert Haynesworth???MTK 12-21-2007, 02:28 PM Portis isn't going anywhere. His release fee for 2008 would be nearly $9M. Slingin Sammy 33 12-21-2007, 05:23 PM Looks like the Jets have their eyes on him. He won't hit the open market, he's a great talent but his price tag will be way too high. NY Jets - Pro Football Weekly (http://www.profootballweekly.com/PFW/NFL/AFC/AFC+East/NY+Jets/WWHI/2007/wwhi122107.htm) Everyone has there eye on him he is a beast we have AM & KG but it won't hurt to rotate the three I say go after him. Beemnseven 12-21-2007, 07:52 PM Screw it. Take him. I've always liked the guys with the 'I'll rip off your helmet and stomp on your face' attitude. Slingin Sammy 33 12-21-2007, 07:56 PM Screw it. Especially if it's a Cowboy face getting stomped....maybe we should try to get him. skinsfan69 12-21-2007, 10:19 PM There are talks about Albert Haynesworth test the FA market this off season he has had on-field & off-field the problem but he is a pro bowl Defensive lineman & makes a difference when he not in the lineup. Risk or Reward? If he does test the market would you pick him as a GM share your thoughts? This guy is a thug. He has a history of stepping on peoples faces. Plus I don't think we need a DT. We need a DE. No thanks! That Guy 12-22-2007, 12:20 AM This guy is a thug. He has a history of stepping on peoples faces. Plus I don't think we need a DT. We need a DE. No thanks! 1 incident != (DOES NOT EQUAL) history. please provide links if i'm misinformed. rypper11 12-22-2007, 06:52 AM Cap room is a factor and the Redskins may be in even worse shape than usual next season. Shawn Springs will be gone. CP may be gone. There will be a cap hit to release Brandon Lloyd. Some high profile vets [Samuels?] may choose not to restructure their contracts and could be traded or released. So, the Skins could be forced to mine the undrafted free-agent market -- again. But what they need is elite talent, like Haynesworth, and the cap room to sign them. You listen to Peter King too much. Next year's team will be very similar to this year's with a few minor exceptions. The biggest offseason change will probably be wr or backup qb(s). 2BIG2BSKINNY 12-22-2007, 05:09 PM I Live here in Nashville area and He is a quality guy! he is a reward but may be too rich for our blood! SFREDSKIN 12-22-2007, 05:13 PM Here's a guy worth looking at, he might come at a reasonable price.
