coach of the year goes to mike murlarky, GB
Proud of the team for this seasonWaldSkins 12-20-2007, 08:02 PM coach of the year goes to mike murlarky, GB SouperMeister 12-20-2007, 08:43 PM coach of the year goes to mike murlarky, GBI agree, and going a step further, I'd give Brett Favre MVP. He carried the entire team before they discovered Ryan Grant midway into the season. SFREDSKIN 12-20-2007, 09:13 PM True, and part of that is the fact that we have the oldest team in the NFL. I think some of it should fall on the shoulders of our strength and conditioning coach. Bring back Dan Riley!! He's with the Texans now. jgalecpa 12-21-2007, 01:26 PM Before the season, I predicted the Skins would go 9-7 and end up third in the division. If you would have told me three weeks ago, on the heels of a 4-game losing streak, and losing a pro-bowl safety first to injury and then murder, I still might be right, I would have thought you crazy. This team has Heart with a capital Gibbs. J-Dawg malo12124 12-21-2007, 09:08 PM We had a great year. Aside from the New England game we were in every single one of them, we could have won allot more, then you add the unfortunate passing of Sean. Allot of other teams would have folded but we held it together and were still in this thing!! No matter what happens in these next 2 games I am extremely proud of this team and even more proud to be a fan! They are the greatest team in sports!!!!!! GO SKINS!!!!!!!!!!!! skinsfan69 12-21-2007, 09:16 PM Well I'm proud of this team for part of the season. It seems that we had to back ourself into this corner to get fired up and play harder. I know we have had a ton of injuries but we should have atleast been 9/5 now and not 7/7. At 9/5 we would not be cheering for other teams to help us out. I'm with you on this. No reason at all we should be sitting here at 7-7 and Gibbs and Sanders should take some blame for that. But to pull it together after the Buffalo game and win two in a row with the massive injuries has really really been impressive. I give the staff and players a big thumbs up. J-Dawg Considering 6 of our 7 losses have been by 8pts or less, I'd certainly like to see us with 2 or 3 more wins at this point, but with the injuries and Sean's passing, I'm very proud. Especially the past two weeks. Hail damn it. MTK 12-24-2007, 01:03 AM I think this thread deserves a bump after tonight. scafuri27 12-24-2007, 01:05 AM people werent sipping the kool aid... lets all get together and beat dallas!!!! estrella117 12-24-2007, 02:52 AM I agree with the matt, this team deserves nothing but a pat on the back for the hard play they have showed us. They easily could have called this season over after the murder of are beloved Sean Taylor! I'm truley proud to be a diehard fan of this team and to wear the colors proudly! I love the redskins no matter what, wether we win or lose and I have nothing but respect to the whole redskins organization and fans. How we have all come together for one another at this time is just amazing. I wish this never happened but god works in mysterious ways and I can only say that even though we all knew ST was probally going to be a hall of famer. But with his death it cemented his name in redskins histroy forever and that us fans will never forget him and that he died a hero to his family. God Bless ST and the Washington Redskins! HTTR |
