That Hamlin hit warrants a fine

Well the Hamlin hit was pretty nasty and should've warranted a penalty. Roy Williams should know not to keep doing the horse tackling considering the fact that the NFL made that tackle illegal because of him.

Every game of the roids I've seen this year, RW has used his "patented" tackle technique. About time the league got serious.

I think Roy Williams is an even dirtier player than Rodney Harrison, and I didn't think that was possible. Hopefully the Cowboys are beginning their implosion now. I was not sorry at all to see that Romo suffered that thumb injury to his throwing hand.

Hopefully we'll get one against Minnesota next Sunday, and then beat the heck out of Dallas the final week to get into the playoffs. The team looked really good against the Giants last night, and hopefully it's just a sign of things to come! We're back baby!!

Funny how after the tackle RW was SHOCKED to see he was being flagged. I guess he thought because he tapped the upper arm/shoulder first it was ok to grab the collar however no matter where you grab first on the body or jersy if you pull someone down backwards like that has proven to cause injury...thus the rule.
Looking at the Hamlin hit I would venture to say he did not get the flag because he turned and tried to hit with the shoulder first. As you listen to the announcers they spell it out for you. You can't hit a WR like that while in the air unprotected. I'm betting a fine will come of it. Why no penalty cause the Refs were to busy not trying to trip over the EAGLES Kicker on the sideline. lol.

Roy has always been a dirty player.. Back to his early years he's either been going at people's knees or horsecollaring people.. He got what he deserves..

I only wish the league would have taken their time to really look at the film. You know and try to decide what was a good punishment. As well as fair. I don't know maybe taken atleast a week to think about it then decide that maybe one game or two would be appropriate. lol.

It's not fair that this guy can knock someone out of the season for an illegal hit that he does again and again. The NFL needs to protect its players and if he does it again, and I'd be surprised if he didn't, I think that would warrant a severe suspension.
