i thought it was a legal hit... not that it should be.. but still

and i really don't think it was intentional.. chris samuels isn't an ***hole like other people in the league..

I remember the play, but I don't remember the block. What's the rule when a defensive player is engaged with another offensive player?

I know, but what's "low"? Below the belt? Below the knees?

below the belt, and the block was definitely illegal. but i could care less. while i dont want to see players injured, anyone that shows me a mean streak while playing for the skins, i like

The block was actually NOT illegal. You can engage low at the line of scrimmage, but not while the opposition is engaged with another player.

Whilst everyone in the game thinks this type of "chop" block should be illegal, i don't think its currently not legal in the rule books. I remember chickenneck (Collingsworth) saying that was a horrible play, but currently is NOT a foul.

actually, it was illegal. garay was already engaged with Kendell( i think) before Samuels got involved. thus, no going low on someone that is already " engaged"
