Interesting list.
ESPN's Top 64 QB's (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/insider/news/story?id=3147842)
They had Campbell ranked at 18th, which I guess is pretty fair, but I take issue with Eli Manning and Vince Young being rated higher than him. This is what they said about Campbell:
Campbell is extremely talented and will be a frontline starter. He has the arm strength to attack all levels in the passing game while making defenses defend the whole field. While he could improve his accuracy in the short and intermediate areas in the passing game as well as his ability to process the reads while getting rid of the ball quicker, he has a bright future.
I'm thinking this was written by SmootSmack. :laughing2

18th isn't too bad for a guy who has just over a year's worth of starts under his belt. What I want to know is why Mark Brunell didn't make the list ;)

McNabb is Number 9. And I'm the Princess of England.
I was interested to learn that Todd Collins can scramble. I have no idea what they base that on. It's like saying Flozell Adams can kick field goals. Maybe he can but who can say?

It's pretty fair. I kind of agree about VY, how can you say Campbell should be above Eli Manning.
Manning gets alot of heat but his #'s aren't bad for a fairly young qb. Campbell may be better in a couple years, but not right now.

Tood Collins is 40 something. This list must have just been done because they based it on that game.

Eli is inconsistent and easily shaken. He throws for a lot of yards, but his leadership is suspect. He's basically a slightly more polished version of Rex Grossman. He'll have a great week one week, then look a like deer in the headlights the next week.
Campbell does have parts of his game that need refining, but he's a rock compared to Eli. I've yet to see him completely fall apart, like Eli does basically every December.

After that list got to about #25 it looked like they were picking names out of a hat.

I think you nailed it. Eli's stats are slighly better than Jason's but that doesn't tell the whole story. Also, you get the feeling the team loves and admires Campbell a great deal.
I think if you spoke to many Giants off the record, the opinions about Eli would vary more than we think.

That sounds about right. I don't see how he could be any higher at this point.
