Ok I live in Philly, and went up to DC on thursday and stayed till early sat, today. I have had a lot of skins stuff on my mind so please feel free to answer any of the following:
-Can we have wild card number 2 if PHI, MIN, DET, and ARI lose?
-Can JC return in time for the season/playoffs?
-Will Collins or Brunell start next week?
-Can we win out? How?
Answer any you feel like.

In order:
Yes (number 1 if Giants self destruct)
Probably not unless we go deep in playoffs and if that is the case do you switch qb's after the backup wins 5 or 6 in a row?
Collins is the de facto starter in JC's absence.
Absolutely if we play the same first 3 quarters a game we've been playing but start closing out each of them as we did vs the Bears or the first Eagles game.

Probably, yes, Collins, and theoretically.
Please try to stick to one issue per thread and more descriptive thread titles. Thanks.

The bottom line is this. If the Skins win out they'd hold any tiebreakers over Detroit (head-to-head), Arizona (head-to-head), Minnesota (head-to-head), Philadelphia (better conference record believe it or not; better division record if Philly loses to either NYG or Dallas). It would still require losses from Detroit and Arizona since they have both only lost six games to this point. The toughest game Arizona has the rest of the way is against Seattle, especially if Boldin and/or Fitzgerald are out. If either New Orleans or Carolina (believe it or not) win out they'd both get in over Washington based on conference record.
If the Skins lose any of the next three that will basically end their season because they would end probably end up losing out in any tiebreakers based on conference record (they're 4-5 right now) so even if the final spot went to an 8-8 team they probably wouldn't get in the playoffs.
