Just got back from the game and Im glad you guys noticed this too.
When he got flagged for that hit, which was ticky tack IMO, I actually turned to my buddy and commented how prior to that Sean Taylor was the only player I ever remember getting flagged for "hitting a defenseless receiver."
Taylor will never EVER be replaced but it'd be nice to think Landry can come close to being that good one of these days.
Sorry the flag was not "ticky tack" it was clearly a lat hit. Did you guys freeze out there last night? I was very surprised at the size of the crowed.

The hit will probably cost Landry some $$, but I didn't see too many passes over the middle after that so he made his point. Landry looked fluid and like GW said before, once he recognizes something he flies to the ball and makes plays. He can definitely bring the lumber.
The secondary played awesome last night, even on the TD that Springs gave up it took a perfect pass and a great catch to beat him, couldn't ask for much more from Springs.
We will probably never know how the murder of #21 has affected LL? They must have been pretty close as they trained (at least) many hours together.
That having been said, life changing events come in many forms. LL is already a good player on his way to potential greatness. That could accelerate, depending how he uses the passing of his brother safety, ST! He could not have a better model.

Laron has a ways to go but he is starting to show flashes. He is not in the realm of the impact player Sean is yet. He is a heck of an athlete, though remember in most of our opinions Sean was going to be a legend perhaps the best ever to play the game in his position. Good job so far for Laron, he is a rookie yet. :)

Yes definitely.. I smiled and told my friend who is a HUGE fan of Bears, "I like that boy".. Even though it cost us a Bears td and LaRon probably will get a fine for it.. But it is definitely worth it, it will show WRs that we still have a guy who can lay a heavy lumber..
BUT I do not want LaRon to replace Sean, nobody can replace Sean.. Not even LaRon.. I want LaRon to be himself - represent #30..

I absolutely loved the hit last night, but I wish he could've caught those two interceptions. Speaking of the hit does anyone have a video of it?

I was wrong earlier when someone asked if he'd move to free safety. Obviously GW trusts him back there & thinks his speed is needed.
He's really gonna have to step up & so far he has. It's so depressing to think about what could've been w/Landry & ST next year & after.

Collinsworth said that Laron was at FS. If so, it wouldn't surprise me if we saw him make more plays. He was definitely bringing the wood last night. I too was kind of happy to see Laron put the hit on MM, it reminded me of Taylor.

Landry a lot of people doubt him went we choose him I think everyone is happy as hell now. Just think about it what a 1-2 punch he & ST really would have been.

You think they'll make another Mcgreggor (or whatever it is) commercials outa that hit?
