I'm pretty sure the kneecap is INSIDE the patella tendon

Know the Patellar tendon was stretched out and the kneecap popped out of joint. It wasn't lateral force but forward and away from the knee

The patella is the kneecap. It is fixed in place by the patellar tendon...
