Ok watching last night game made me sick. One side i was going for the Pats cause i want to see a team in my generation win every game. Im tired of the 72' this 72' that comparision. But at the same time i wanted the Ravens to do it since they had the most miami players on their squad. But what i watched tick me off. Like Philly from the week before when the Ravens blitzed Brady folded. They would back brady into a 3rd and long and would drop back in coverage. Why? Brady cant handle pressure we seen that last year against the chargers and colts. When blitzed he is a avereage quarterback. Any offensive line can look good when they have 3-4 rushers and 6 guys to block them.Dont give Brady time and they will fold. After watching a cocky Brady strut off the field and in the postgame interview i hope they lose. it might be blasphemy but i think our mortal enemies the cowboys is the team that can beat them. Also the chargers if they play like they are now, not 6 weeks ago. if im wrong tell me.

I'll agree that Ryan's scheme of blitzing and then only rushing 3 confused me when when it became apparent that the Pats line couldn't stop a decent blitz and then when they rushed just 3 Brady got a first down every freakin' time. I was yelling at the TV when they'd just rush 3. Brady picked them apart. When they blitzed though they were cranking his ass. I got no clue why he backed off so blatantly at times.

For sure the last two games have given the rest of the league a blue print on how to defend the Pats. I'm not a defensive coordinator by any stretch of the imagination, and I could see you can't play some soft cover 2 and give Brady all day back there. He'll eat you alive.

I think as we get closer to the playoffs, the Pats may get tested a few more times.

Well, since you asked...

I thought Steve Young said it best after the game. These last two teams are the only ones, well plus Indy, that played the Patriots with no fear.

The Ravens did a great job of jamming Wes Welker, who is Brady's hot read most of the time. They jammed him at the line, and took him away by being physical from the snap. Yes, Brady did get rattled when they got to him, but you give Brady the same look time after time and he's going to beat you.

Oh, and you can't beat yourself. But one thing, the last flag they threw on the Ravens, would they throw that on the Patriots in the same situation?

Any QB will play differently when under extreme pressure.

Blitzing Brady doesn't guarantee anything. Despite the fact that the Eagles and Ravens have brought the heat, the Patriots have still won.

Well they may have rattled Brady but the pats still won the games.

True, at least the margins have closed, though, from a 35+ point spread at the end of the game to now a touchdown or field goal.

Like someone else mentioned, it looks like teams are starting to figure it out. I don't blame anyone for being nervous about bringing the house on 3rd down. Yeah, blitzing is great when you get pressure on him. But what if he gets it off to Randy Moss 20 yards downfield with little coverage? Well there goes 6 points.

Overall, though, I think the solution we're seeing is that the game changes when you can knock Brady on his ass and jam those receivers at the line. Just takes a ballsy defensive coordinator to bring it on every down and not play coverage.

I guess you can pick whether you want to play coverage and die slowly, or risk bringing the house and taking Brady out or he beats you and you die a pretty quick death. Pick your poison.
