i don't care if he is 100% or not. Thomas at 85% is wayyy better then Fabini at 100%. and if he gets re-injured, he has all of off season to recover. if we run the table, we will make the playoffs. and i never give up until its over

I would be shocked if he starts. I could see him starting the 2nd half or coming in early in the 3rd qtr. Depending on the game situation he could get a lot of reps, I think he'll get more if we have a lead & are establishing a run game.

If Randy Thomas is actice, then he's starting and playing for me. Fabini is serviceable, but at the end of the day he's a tackle who can play guard. This should open up a few more holes for Portis, and yes hello Counter Tre!!
Sounds like he's ready to go, it will be great to have him back.

We need him in the running game to take some pressure off of JC. I don't think the season is a wash but things are definitely out of our hands at this point. We need to win and a few things need to happen. Let's just take this one game at a time and see how it ends up. If Gibbs really is going to retire at the end of this season, I'd like to send him off with a winning season. He DESERVES that!

I would think they would have him out there early to get us the lead then use him as needed. Whay bring him in if we are loosing?

YES!!! This means we will actually be able to run to the RIGHT!!!

He'll either play or he won't. I don't see the sense either in bringing him in later in the game.
If he can go, he will start and probably play the entire game.

Read the post again - I said I think he'll play more if we're winning & trying to run the ball in the 2nd half.
Maybe Matty's right, typically linemen are not subbed in for one another. This is a little different though in that he hasn't had much practice time. Then again, that goes for the whole team.
