Garrett was brought into Dallas with the assumption he would take over for Phillips. no way he leaves for the giants. Phillips is already in his sixties. and as far as Cowher, i see him coaching Carolina. and the redskins job would be much more appealing to him over the giants. too much drama in new york

If the Cowboys win the SB, they just might beat the Patriots the second time around. Phillips will retire and Garrett will be promoted to HC. There's no way in hell Jerry Jones lets Garrett leave, especially to a rival NFL East team.

No way!! They couldn't even hang with Favre playing before he got hurt, Rodgers made it competitive for a little while.

If Joe has his say about a successor, I bet it Williams. I was at the game Sunday, we lucked into Section 142, Row 1 tix...right on the 45 yd line behind the bench. At one point it was third and medium. They were in the area of the field where going for it on fourth vs punting has been in vogue in the league lately. While the offense was huddling, Gibbs yelled for Williams to come over. Williams had been jawing with a few defensive players near the bench. Williams almost ran to Gibbs. It was clear that Gibbs was trying to decide what to do if they faced 4th down. As it turned out, the play got a first, and Williams went back to his players. Interesting interaction.

One funny moment...
Suisham and Frost took a seat on the bench, apparently where Brunnell had been sitting. Brunnell had been in what I think is a little bathroom right behind the bench, built into the wall. Looks like a little shed. Brunnell comes out, walks to the bench stands in front of them, smiles, waves his arm and says, "Ok guys. Move." They dutifully got up, and Brunnell sat down.

If Saunders were to leave for any reason, what do you guys think of Cam Cameron as a replacement for him? Assuming Cameron were to be fired by the Dolphins. Not a lot different than Saunders there.

Okay how about this? Joe Gibb's teams have only won 43% of the time since he has been back, that is failing by far. Can anyone honestly say this team is getting better? The skins were on the 4 year superbowl plan, are the pieces, and leadership in place to make a run for the superbowl next year. That would assume that they re-due the O-line fix the secondary (replace springs and taylor) as well as the D-line and find some WRs in the offseason, and get on the same page, As well as fixing the myriad of coaching gaffs that have happened over the past 4 years.

What??? We ARE NOT a contending Super Bowl team next year. Do you know how hard it is going to be trying to replace Taylor? He was probably the best player on the team. He was the only playmaker we have on the whole defense. We have way too many holes on this team. O-line, pass rusher, wr, secondary. Other than that we're fine.

Joe has no say in who follows him. Since when does he sign the checks?
