I'm going to get back on track here...

Thanks Skins for putting together a positive game under such negative circumstances. While emotions seemed to carry the game early on, circumstances of the week seemed to take its toll down the stretch. I, for one, cannot blame the team if they collapse under the stress of Sean's death and the teams endless string of injuries. I cannot judge, because I am not there, but I don't believe I would be able to focus on football in meetings, in the film room, and sometimes even in a huddle at this point. Just do your best.

I'll be behind you.

Forever a skins fan!

The thread is titled "Thanks Skins" My original post was basically asking thanks for what? So I am on the correct board for that post.

1. I don't think this is a public forum... i think someone owns it. This isn't the public park... your taxes don't pay for it.

2. I explain exactly what I was thanking them for in my first post. Read it before you ask stupid questions and chime in with your negative ignorant opinion based on inaccuracies.

3. There were plenty of places people with the same feelings you were feeling were venting and I didn't have the energy for that kind of discussion, so I started one where I reflected upon my own feelings. I saw alot of raw emotion from these players today and to be honest I wouldn't have been at work. Tomorrow they go to bury a teammate. I wanted to express my gratitude for having the balls to go out and play a game today, because I guarantee this one hurt the team alot more than it fucking hurt you

... but maybe the team owes you an apology.

Tell you what... hold your fucking breath.

I already apologized if I offended anyone, I suppose you missed that.

I never stated that the TEAM got Taylor killed, his actions and poor decision making lead to his death. Not to say that anyone other than who pulled the trigger got him killed.

You mean his decision to get a second opinion on his knee. Or do you mean his decision to buy a house for his family, throwing a birthday party for his sister, and giving his sister money? Or do you mean his decision to defend his fiance and baby daughter?

Nice work. My guess is that you are torn limb from limb by other posters, and rightfully so. I usually don't support personal attacks, but if you get attacked let's just say I'm looking the other way.

Being new here, which I do not deny, I have taken it kind of easy with what I post in relation to my thoughts. I can only imagine what you closed minded people would say of the posts I have made on foxsports.com.

NOW, let me do this, for a THIRD time.

I APOLOGIZE IF MY THOUGHTS OFFEND ANYONE.

I am a lifelong Skins fan, and as disappointed and heartbroken as I am currently, I will continue to be a fan. I will however not attend anymore games or purchase anymore skins merchandise until they give me a reason to root for them. Just giving up on games as they have all year long does not make for happy fans.

Smoot gave it everything he had today. I mean everything. That was tough to watch at the end.Probably Smoot's best game since his first stint with the Skins. Anybody who says the guy can't support the run need only watch this game. Smoot was outstanding.

Now to really get people mad at me, if Taylor was where he should have been, he would have been at least on the sidelines today. I mean, these guys make millions of dollars to play a game. Part of his responsibility to the owner, coaches, teammates, and fans is to behave in an appropriate manner, meaning abiding by ALL rules.

FYI - It's not against team rules to travel unless you have to be at a team meeting, game, practice, etc. Sean didn't have to be anywhere. He didn't tell Gibbs he was leaving, but he did NOT have to. JLC interviewed players who said it is common for players to travel home if they don't need to be at the Park or at a game.

An Insult to us and smoke up his own but in an apology.
BRILIANT!

Yeah, because if he HAD gotten explicit permission from the team to go back to Miami (which Gibbs certainly would have granted, but Sean didn't need to ask), the mere act of asking for permission would have protected him from the gunshot wound.

Stupidest argument I've heard made yet, and I truly mean that. Mike Wilbon thanks you for letting him off the hook.

Considering I am 32 years old, very far from a teenager, and have seen a few teams in my lifetime blow up and start over, it can't be much worse then this and the last few seasons have turned out for us. Granted we had a post season birth, but everyone knew we were not gonna win that first round game. Let me elaborate a little bit on what I meant exactly. Both Gibbs and Saunders should be gone next year. Campbell, well, not many will like it but here goes, the man does have a cannon of an arm, but that does no good when he's completing passes to the defense. I say hang on to him for a little bit until we can acquire a truly great QB, either in the draft or free agency. And it is not our record that bothers me, it is HOW we ended up with that record. Yes, I know there are highs and lows in a season, the Taylor situation being uncontrollable as it is, all season has been a low. Gibbs had no idea he had gone back to Fla, because he wasn't supposed to be there at the time. I am not faulting him for his demise, I'm just stating if he had done as he should have, he would be here today. I do feel for his family, and had a few rough moments myself as a lifelong Skins fan. But emotions do not change the fact of the matter. If you make that kind of money, you do as you are supposed to, not as you want.

Dating back to last season when Campbell made his first start, he has 22 TDs and 17 INTs. And at least three of those INTs were of tipped balls, including today. Not great, but not bad at all considering he's barely started a full season's worth of games. A lot better than that other Manning kid, that's for sure. He has all the tools- size, arm strength, mobility, leadership, smarts, and the entire team as well as other teams and analysts all over the place are pretty much unanimous that he is a rising star caliber player.
But sure, whatever you say.
