Howdy JS.

Eh. I dunno if it's so much about killer instinct. It seems like as soon as we get into the 20, the offense forgets how to play offense. Poor decision making, 3 throws and not even at least a draw play or something. Very predictable.

The D is playing average so far. Not giving up a lot of running game which is good. But the secondary is scaring me. And I can't wait till the offseason so they can cut or at least put that good for nothing Torrence back on the practice squad.

The team looks great though.
...As long as they're outside of the 20. :)

How's it going D-rave?
To be honest, I am not too concerned with it right now. I really think Campbell will develope that instinct. It will just take time. We can't expect him to be great right off the bat. He has come a long way thus far, and when he developes those traits, he will be amazing.

Missing Sellers is also hurting us in the running game. With the Bills playing their smallball, quick defense--we needed to hammer these guys up the gut.

Detroit is getting annihilated.

And hold the phone...thus far, Vince Young has YET to turn the ball over!

(not that it's important, just thought I'd share) :D

That's a good point. On a related note, whatever happened to Fred Beasley?

I actually just made a comment to someone else about this too. I think once we get into the redzone, Campbell starts to choke, or just doesn't do enough practice right now.I think the bigger problem is that we haven't had a red zone running game all season. That puts too much on Campbell to be the only playmaker. Yes, we lost Jansen and Thomas to injury, but I'm really starting to think that Dockery was a big part of our short yardage success as an interior battering ram. Of course losing Sellers doesn't help either.

WHat is it with Suisham and his short kickoffs? That was to the 15 yard line!

That's very true, our run game has been stuffed in the redzone.

Who knows. Like I said, it's like russian roulette with this kid. One minute he's booting 4 FGs a game. The next he's kicking off to the 15 yr line.

Never know what you're gonna get.

Smoot never even looked back at the ball.

Sigh. This poor, poor secondary.
