"Even after a loss, we could usually sit back and say, 'atleast Sean Taylor knocked the crap out of so-and-so'" - Mrs Cpayne5
What is your favorite thing and the thing you will always remember about Sean Taylor?cpayne5 11-29-2007, 11:27 PM "Even after a loss, we could usually sit back and say, 'atleast Sean Taylor knocked the crap out of so-and-so'" - Mrs Cpayne5 bigSkinsfan61 11-30-2007, 01:24 AM my favorite moment among many was at the end of the skins-panthers game in 06' i was at the4 game and he picked off Delhome to end the game and threw the ball in the stands were all going to miss u so much sean AlvinWalton'sNeckBrace 11-30-2007, 01:27 PM My favorite moment was one he wasn't directly involved in. Back in 04 when we were playing the Eagles and Pinkston whiffed on a pass over the middle because Ryan Clark was bearing down on him. You KNOW he thought it was Sean Taylor! firstdown 11-30-2007, 01:58 PM Mine is when he made the pro bowl I was thinking he does not know how to play in the pro bowl. Then he leveled the punter and I just smiled knowing I was right. The reason I say he does not know how to play in the pro bowl is because he did not know how to play football at 75% or how to hold back. He played 100% all of the time. pg86 11-30-2007, 02:39 PM My favorite memory of Sean was in the game against dallas in Dallas on a monday night in 05 Right as I thought it was over (now yes this was after the first santanna moss TD) with that pass to the outside all of a sudden Taylor came up and took that reciver to the freaking woodshed! BleedBurgundy 11-30-2007, 02:50 PM Probably the time he spit in another players face... And this is probably why you should stop talking. Jay1819 11-30-2007, 05:09 PM My favorite thing about Taylor was his passion for the game and the way he hit other players, he brought so much excitement to the game. JoeRedskin 11-30-2007, 05:30 PM Okay, normally I'm a big sportmanship guy and believe hard play needs to stay between the lines and am never a fan of cheap shots BUT... The Skins were playing the Eagles (not sure which game), Owens has just dropped a pass and is walking back to the huddle - As he walks past ST, Sean just smacks him upside the head with a wicked forearm shiver. Owens just took it like a beaten puppy - you could almost see him say, "yes sir - please may I have another". Unfortunately, the ref was standing right behind ST and flagged him for it. As I said, normally I don't condone this stuff at all and I probably shouldn't look on that moment fondly. But I guess my disgust for TO runs that deep and I just loved how ST beat the crap out of him. TampaDude 11-30-2007, 05:38 PM Sean Taylor played every game in top gear...he always left it all on the field...he brought an excitement and an energy to the game that was such a treat to watch...I actually didn't mind so much when the Skins were on defense, because I knew I was gonna see ST layin' the wood! :headbange RIP, Sean...you'll be missed... :( firstdown 11-30-2007, 05:40 PM My favorite memory of Sean was in the game against dallas in Dallas on a monday night in 05 Right as I thought it was over (now yes this was after the first santanna moss TD) with that pass to the outside all of a sudden Taylor came up and took that reciver to the freaking woodshed! I remember that play as most here do but just so you will know. That was after the 2nd Moss TD and it was 4th down (I think) and Dallas was trying to score to win the game. Taylor leveled the guy and game over. |
