Sean Taylor Irreplaceable and Will Be Missed

Coming out as a rookie out of Miami, the school where the 'thug' label had been branded, Taylor had that persona of one. With the issues on and off the field early on, I and probably many other fans didn't know where things would lead to. However, things dramatically changed and flipped 180 degrees. Taylor was a locker room guy, a teammate, a friend to many, and all around tremendous person. He left it on the field every game. I am a Virginia Tech fan and knew someone well who was shot in the tragic events in Blacksburg, and now this has happened. If it couldn't get worse for the Redskins it just did. Watching Taylor play all of us knew he was something special especially this season. The future was incredible for this guy, and unfortunately this incident occurred. I don't know how the Redskins can replace what I would say one of the best safetys playing the game right now. Sean Taylor definetly will be missed and for Redskins fans everywhere, never forgotten.

Each person who loves the Redskins dearly will need some time to come to terms with what has happened yesterday. I have written a thoughtful analysis piece on the post ST world for Hog Heaven, but I ask that you do not click on this link until you are ready to move on without ST. I discuss the future here, so it will be rough on those who are still hoping that this is all a bad dream.

Taylor's loss on the field has already been felt the past few weeks. At this point frankly I don't care much about what happens the rest of the way. This season will be forever tarnished.

Though a playoff run would give some extra meaning to a season in which we suffered the ultimate tragedy.

For sure. Even if we pull it together, run the table and end up winning the SB I'd still feel cheated because I simply couldn't enjoy it with the unbriddled joy that it would normally have brought.

Yeah the rest of this season means squat to me. I'd deal with losing seasons for the rest of my life if It would've saved him.
