Thank you for being you. Always real, never desired media attention or the limelight, just family and football. Thank you for being my favorite Redskin. Thank you for learning from your mistakes growing up right before our eyes in your four short years with the team. Thank you for getting me out of my seat with your play on Sundays. Man, I'm gonna miss you.

Hi guys. Steelers fan here, but I thought I would drop in to give you my heartfelt condolences. What a terrible tragedy. Are there any leads or suspects yet? I really want the scum that did this to be brought to justice swiftly. God bless you all.

Hey, Dolfan here (a little ashamed to admit). Just wanted to stop by and say my condolences. It just doesn't seem real. Sean was an amazing athlete and contributed so much to the sport. Every football fan loved to watch him and every opponent feared him.
It deeply saddens me to think about his daughter who will have to grow up without her real father, his fiance who lost her beloved future husband, and his parents who lost their son.
I am disgusted with the media as mentioned in another thread. Not just the media but almost anything I read, on any other football board, his past mistakes are brought up somehow. Yes, the guy made a few mistakes but come on, show some respect, the guy was just murdered in front of his fiance and daughter and they are putting him down, it's almost as bad as the murder itself.
Sean and his family are in my prayers. God bless you all.

Andy Garcia: Taylor saved niece's life - 11/28/2007 - MiamiHerald.com (http://www.miamiherald.com/news/breaking_dade/story/324186.html)
''His heroic action on that tragic night saved their life and is a testament to his humanity and courage,'' Garcia said in his statement, which was provided to The Miami Herald through his manager, Joanne Colonna. ``His spirit will live forever, in our hearts and through the legacy of his achievements and the family he leaves behind.''
Check out what Andy Garcia had to say. Pretty impressive.

Wow I had no idea his girlfriend was related to Garcia.
Touching words indeed.
I think it's sad that more people (I'm pointing at the media) aren't picking up on the fact that Taylor died while protecting his family.

I'm with you on that, Matty. What bigger indicator of character is there then the willingness to sacrifice your life so that others may live? That's the reason for my new sig...

As a Cowboys fan, I just wanted to express my heartfelt condolence to all Redskins fans and the team on the sudden death of Sean Taylor, a wonderful player and talent who death has snatched abruptly from his family, friends, teammates and fans. May God give everyone the fortitude to bear the loss.
