Hogroll 11-27-2007, 09:15 AM These are all such wonderful post and sentiments. I am at a loss of words. I am thankful for the time we had him on the team, and never beyond my wildest dreams think that I was there for his last plays vs. Eagles when he came out at the half.
I feel like crying.
FRPLG 11-27-2007, 09:18 AM I don't think I have ever felt like crying over the death of someone I didn't know. Until now.
NFLDiva 11-27-2007, 09:19 AM Good Morning Redskins fans,
Just wanted to stop in and say that all of us from SaintsRevolution join you in your grief today and share your heavy hearts. We have many Sean Taylor fans at our board as well, he was a great player and many of us enjoyed watching his skill and love for the game. Our sincerest prayers go out to all of you, Sean's family and friends and the entire Redskins organization. God Bless.
Many Condolences,
The entire staff and membership of SaintsRevolution.
nickh29 11-27-2007, 09:21 AM Seahawks fan here,
Condolences to all of the Skins fans and fans of Sean Taylor. I went to sleep with the news that he had stabilized and when I woke up, I found out he had died. Very tragic, and my prayers are with Sean, his family, friends and anyone who needs them right now.
I think there is more to this story than meets the eye. We are all so overcome with grief right now, that maybe we are dismissing the possibility of Taylor's fiance' or someone inside the home. 900,000 dollar home, and no security? Especially after two weeks ago someone broke in? I think something fishy is going on. I wonder if when he was airlifted if he was in his street clothes. I dunno, I guess I'm just searching for answers. Sorry if I've offended anyone.
JoeRedskin 11-27-2007, 09:22 AM RIP Sean.
Prayers out to his family, especially his young daughter.

cpayne5 11-27-2007, 09:23 AM In the mornings, my wife wakes up before me to take care of our dog. When I came out this morning, she was crying and had the Tivo paused on a screen declaring Sean Taylor's untimely death.
We both had become big fans of Sean over the past 18 months; football aside. We admired the way he had taken charge of his life to become a better person. So sad. We will carry this one for a while.
TampaDude 11-27-2007, 09:24 AM I was dreading turning on the TV this morning...I had a really bad feeling about ST.
I hope they fry the fucker who did this!!! :madani:
I think the Redskins will retire #21. I sure as hell wouldn't want to wear that # if I were a Redskin...it would be disrespectful, IMHO.
RIP, Sean...you'll be missed...

There are a lot of unanswered questions right now. While we are facing this grief, we should keep any specualtion to a minimum. By every account, Taylor was home with his fiancee and daughter. Until such time as those facts are disproven, we should respect the family. Regardless of the circumstances, the family is grieving.
