Given that this is a high profile case and these guys cut the phone lines, left a knife on Taylor's bed, damaged the door and AC unit, fired a weapon, etc., I'm confident that they are going to be caught and f'ed.

Cut the phone lines? Damaged the A/C unit? They're morons! Would anyone on this entire friggin forum be cutoff from the outside world if the land-line running to your house (if you even have one) was cut? I'm pretty confident these idiots will surface sooner rather than later, and I hope breaking and entering, reckless endangerment, and attempted murder are amongst the charges thrown their way. SSG? Thoughts on the charges that'll be filed given what you know about the situation?

Unfortunately, I'm not at all familiar with Florida law and the facts are still pretty murky. The typical scenario is that the prosecutor hits them with as many charges as possible to gain leverage for plea deal talks. I would guess they would be hit with various firearms charges (e.g., it is likely they are felons and would be hit with charges of felon in possession of a firearm), attempted murder, various property crimes, and burglary among other possible charges. In short, if they get caught, they're f'ed. JoeRedskin?

Good. Hopefully they're caught soon.

Thank G-d Sean is alive. I don't know if it's been posted elsewhere, but COMCAST reported that he "flatlined" twice during the worst of the initial ordeal. He is truly amazing and I believe he survived knowing he had to be there for his little girl. I just pray that he continues to make progress no matter if he plays football ever again for the Skins. Just get better Sean. Just get well.

Do you find it kind of strange that all this happened supposedly with this fiancee in the room and she emerged unscathed? I ceratinly don't want to speculate. And I apologize if it seems that way. But, if we assume the shooter was trying to kill Taylor, doesn't he also "take care" of any potential witnesses?

She must be in protective custody or not living in that house anymore. I would be surprised if the guy came after her since this attack is so highly profiled. I don't think this is like some sort of mafia hit, where now they have to take out everyone in a 1 block radius. I think this guy is too busy trying to save his ass right now to worry about anyone who may or may not have seen something. I don't even think she was in the same room when this happened. I thought ST left the bedroom to see what was going on. I seriously doubt she even saw anything.

Oh, he left the bedroom? OK, I thought he had basically barricaded himself, her, and their baby in the bedroom and the door was kicked down and shots were fired.

It's all so confusing.
